    best breeders

Sadly, that's how most seeds are created and sold with very few breeders understanding what a breeding project consists of, aka Pollen Chuckers. A true, stable hybrid comes from two STABLE parents, not from two hybrids. You can't cross a hybrid and a hybrid and end with anything worth growing.

    Yellow edges and taco leaves

Sometimes I get similar conditions if i'm pushing too close to the light, only affects the upper canopy. May not be the case here, just adding my two bits.

    timer malfunction in bloom, opinions!

Hey guys! It happens from time to time. Honestly, if you have a good solid strain, it won't bother it. Your 8 week plant is probably almost done anyway, so kinda hard to undo all that flowering, and your 2 week is just getting started and hermaphrodism happens in mid-flowering typically, so...

Yellowing at 4th Week of Flower

Pretty much, but the plant is no longer drawing N from the roots. Giving it N now will not change that. You're racing against the clock, hoping that the fan leaves stay on long enough to finish budding. If too many fall off before that time, the buds start eating away. I've noticed that...

    Leaves Curling Up and Down

That pot is huge. Next time start them in a smaller container and build up to that size. One problem you run into is it's hard to control the moisture level if there isn't much root taking up space. Water too little, the roots hit bone dry soil and react, too wet and your whole container will...

4th week of flowering im getting yellow tips?

It's not nitrogen use, this will appear more Autumn-like, the entire leaf with turn a golden yellow, then wilt. What you have looks like high temps and/or a spell where you let it get too dry. When you transition to 12/12, its not uncommon for the plant to suddenly want more water, but only...

    nutrient def with newbie grower

Those are the colors of a sick drowning plant. Without a doubt, the plant is receiving and/or retaining too much water. Not sure how or what you're testing the ph of, but make sure your water tests out before applying it...it should be around 6.5.

    Is this P def?

It looks pretty good, otherwise(I've finished way worse). It might have received a one-time high dose of nutrient, causing it to burn a little, or the ph could be off track(or a bit of both). But at this point in flowering, an under fed plant would usually be more yellow, rather than...

    Yellow tops!!! Help!!!!

I know what you're talking about, it's not that. The way it's yellowing, with sickly green veins, something is off. Shabba, Your RO water is likely to blame. Among other things, its probably too alkali. I know people talk it up, but I've had nothing but problems with it. Just use tap water...

Weird cotyledon and first true leaves curl inward.

Ya, echo that. That soil is way too wet for a seedling. Also, not a concern right now, but later on, I noticed that soil is really black, no perlite. Without that, your soil will retain moisture longer, which will cause more problems.

    HELP!!! My plants

    Ya no need to flush.

    HELP!!! My plants

They don't look too bad, just a bit droopy. They look slightly over fertilized, but primarily they look a bit over watered. When you apply water, do you just dump it in quickly in one pour? The reason I ask is because the plants look over watered yet the soil looks really dry. Do those...

    Unknown problems drying curling leaves

Best of luck, my friend. Polishpollack and myself tend to see eye to eye on things, and I'll have to echo his comments as well.

    Unknown problems drying curling leaves

Hmmm, with all due respect, there's no way to determine a root pathogen from that photo, it's a black and white taken from a bad angle. Call me old fashion, but I think automating a small grow like this sorta defeats the purpose and may be the base cause of your problems, especially since...

What I think I learned from over watering and flushing in soil.

For sure, there could be some causality triggering it, but the gene is either there or it's not. It takes generations of breeding to eliminate it. When you're working with a hybrid, you're basically starting from scratch, breeding-wise.

What I think I learned from over watering and flushing in soil.

Hey all, One point of view, measuring runoff doesn't indicate much. If the soil was really dry when you watered, it could channel down rather quickly without absorbing, so you would observe heavy runoff without conditioning the soil much. As for late flowering hermaphrodites, that's...

Seedling at week 2 but still with no true leaves?

I've had it happen too. recently in fact. It got off to a bad start, and probably won't recover. It's funny because you get so used to doing clones, you forget little things like this when you start something new from seed. Most of this is old news, but I'll recap anyway. For future...

    Dynasty Genetics Thread

I've actually been with a soliloqueen pheno for the last couple years. Would love to try some of Professor P's other stuff. He originally was selling his beans through Sannies, but Sainnies seems like he's nose dived a bit. One thing about Dynasty I like is his dedication to producing...

    4 weeks, no triches

Exactly. I can't say I'm tickled pink about 12 week flowering strains. Do the ends justify the means? We'll see. I'm only rockin' a 400 watter anyway, so I'm more limited by that than what any strain can do for quantity. The deciding factor will be how steller the smoke is, prolly won't know...
