Agreed. We have one near us that makes truly excellent coffee, has a great atmosphere and is truly committed to sustainability, fair trade products, community etc etc. The only problem is that they are so good that they compost their own grounds to use in community gardens! So none left for me.

Wow they look fantastic. Though yours are certainly bigger and bushier, it makes me feel better about mine since I am an inexperienced grower using a smaller, non-air pot with not dissimilar progress. Thanks for the PM advice too. It's got me a bit worried since all my eggs are in that one pot.

What kinds of things do you suspect they put in that would have you worried? Surely whatever undesirable ingredients they may possibly add to your compost will be in such minute quantities as to be inconsequential.
