What brand is the strain btw, certain ones are better suited for 24/0 than others. I know Flash, Nirvana, short stuff and Barney's autos like the 4 off, I think because they are backcrossed. G13 and lowryder are all happy in 24/0.

It's a waste of time in soil that stresses your plants, and causes them to eat their own leaves instead of plumping bud in the last 2 weeks and stresses the plants. Just my 2 cents. Flushing is more a hydro thing.

Holy Old Post Batman. Ok, so my cannabisseeds.com test results so far have resulted in 3/5 cracked, 2/5 popped the surface green (one popped yellow and proceeded to die). 2/5 I cracked and were rotted inside. 1/5 is doing very well, the other one I knocked over trying to grab a caterpillar...

The best thing about waiting on a taproot is A. You make sure the seed doesn't spin in the ground after it's planted, which would add days til it popped, and B. make sure the seed is viable.

I do the same except I use rock wool. And yeah, bird shit would burn the tap root so fast I doubt it would recover.

Curing also is making the buds uniform in humidity level, which means there is about 1/3 as much water in them as when you started. The curing takes the inner moisture and kinda spreads it around, which would affect color.

flushing is more important in hydro than soil. I wouldn't even worry about it, if they are ready to cut, cut em. If you flush now you still have leaves loaded with nutes that'd keep your plants fed for a while anyway so no sense stressing it, just chop and cure it right, that's the way to get...
