Adding micro nutes to reused soil?

Are you adding a little more kelp after each run? That'll fix you up.

    Newbie Soil

I agree with the post above. You don't want half your mix to be perlite/vermiculite, PLUS any perlite that might be in that "garden soil". 1/3 worm castings, 1/3 perlite (or pumice), 1/3 peat moss is a good place to start.

    AZOMITE anyone?

Brands don't really matter much for dry amendments. Just grab whatever you can get your hands on locally. I use a lot of Down to Earth products, just because that's what the local stores carry.

    AZOMITE anyone?

Azomite is good stuff. I'd add some kelp to that soil mix, too. And some alfalfa. That's just me...

Dolomite Lime in lemon juice, will it work?

...the power of suggestion. It says it makes your buds taste like lemons, and tons of people buy it... It must make your buds taste like lemons, right?... Right?? I mean... I swear I taste lemons... Right? Brains are interesting. Just typing this made my beer taste kinda like lemons. :)

    Air flow for cooking soil

I get a little warmth in the middle, but not hot to the tough or anything. Warmth indicates RAPID degradation is going on, which also explains why you ended up with some funky smells (oxygen was depleted faster than it could recharge, and anaerobic organisms started working). The fact that it...

Dolomite Lime in lemon juice, will it work?

Lemon juice (or anything acidic) will dissolve the lime more readily than water. Whether that plants will like it is another story...

2 each, ya. Running different strains is fun, but it's tricky keeping them all 100% happy. I'm busy as fuck right now, so it's been hard to find time to give them each the personal attention they deserve...

    SpicySativa's Organic Garden

Thanks, Don! Ya, that Blackberry in front has been perky since day 1. Much perkier than the other Blackberry behind it, but they're both nice and healthy. It's weird to me how much variation I get from dispensary clones that are supposed to be the same. I guess maybe they have several (or...

    Overfed plant...what to do now?

That's why I asked the questions above. If the OP is inexperienced enough to end up with a plant looking like this (no offense... we all started somewhere) I think we should take his diagnosis of "burn" with a grain of salt. If I had to guess, I would say that poor plant is starving to...

Amber and clear on same plant? with pictures.

You looking to smoke bud or leaf? Gotta check trichomes on the calyx, not the leaf... Trichomes on leaves often mature faster.

    Overfed plant...what to do now?

If you can answer a few questions, I'd be glad to help. - What "hot" amendments did you add to the soil (i.e. blood meal, guano, fresh manure, alfalfa)? - How long ago did you transplant into the "hot" soil? - What was the plants reaction within the first 24-48 hours? - Have you fed it...

anyone in here know if tiresias mist is all organic like is says.

Are you just talking about pure maple syrup? If so, that could be used for an AACT. You're really just looking for some raw sugars, which maple syrup definitely has. Blackstrap molasses also has some other beneficial minerals in it; not sure how that compares to maple syrup. Can't find...

    how to check soils ph?

Read this if you want to accurately measure soil pH: http://extension.udel.edu/lawngarden/files/2012/10/CHAP3.pdf Otherwise, best not to worry about it. If you want to know if your soil is ready, this is the best test I know of: - Stir it up a little - Stick your nose down in there and take...

An off-topic photo... Fresh-caught king salmon from Sunday's kayak fishing session. Combine it with some veggies from garden, smoke a little herb from the Medicine Cabinet, and I'm in heaven... Must be getting close to dinner time.

    Keeping stored Casts fresh?

Sounds like a plan. You can also grind up mosquito dunks and mix/sprinkle them in the bins. That'll help kill off some larvae.
