Dont chop the plant. Just pluck the little tiny thing off. It doesn't even necessarily look like a staminate, maybe just a seed pod. There is no need to cull the whole plant due to one little thing on the top cola.

You can't really just "add" perlite to your potter. You can make a mix of soil and perlite and transplant your root mass into the new mix with perlite throughout the mix, not just the top.

Yeah over watering for sure. Transplant those ASAP for sure. Add some perlite for oxygen for the roots for sure.

It doesn't seem you have perlite in that mix so maybe lay off the watering. That looks like plant moisture stress.

It will grow really shittily.

Heat issues. Ventilation issues. You can move the hot air from a HID faster if you have it in a hood with ducting and inline fans. Not everyone can just hang a HID and go. Like closet growers for example.

Taste is a subjective concept. What tastes like lettuce to one, might taste like tomatoes to the other....

Plant moisture stress. Those plants are either getting way too much water or not nearly enough.

Green is good. Only when you start to see signs of Nitrogen deficiency should you start to apply nutes.

Exactly. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Each method requires time to dial in. so if you already have one method on lock, there should really be no reason to switch it up.
