Haha 76. A lot of us in the US can't even get our houses that cool with A/C running 24/7, much less a spot under mini-suns in closed rooms.
87 is warm, if you could get it to 82-84 at peak that would be fairly acceptable.
12 hours of light is more than enough. Something else is wrong to keep it so small. Is it rootbound? Waterlogged soil? Poor drainage?
Need more info, but at 4 weeks it should be a bit bigger than that. The pale leaves and yellow stem scream deficiency but I can't say which.
Depends on the source of seeds. If it's a true F1 from unrelated strains you can get what is called 'hybrid vigor', meaning the dominant traits (ideally good traits) are fairly uniformly distributed, resulting in fast growing plants.
A clone and a seed of the same genetics... that is a good...
A main cola is usually just a bunch of buds that form around the main stalk and grow into each other. If your plant is stretched to an extreme you may not get a full cola but in most cases, with enough light, the main cola will be where you get the majority of your weight and best smoke.
What I'm doing right now with my seedlings is I put about 2 inches of hydroton pellets in the bottom of a party cup and put the rockwool on top of it. If I overwater a bit then it runs through and moistens the pellets, nothing wrong there. Prevents overwatering and gives the roots something to...
Look into 'coliseum' style grows. Done right you can double or triple your growing area without losing much lux at all. Vertical bulbs are best for that sort of grow. A little harder to cool than a cooltube or two though.
A lot of people take those mini fridges and pump their rez water into it to cool it off before going back into the rez. Just need a hole in one side, a big coil of tube to increase time and surface area inside the cold air space and then out through another hole into the rez.
Granted this only...
I "think" the main problem you may run into with a wide shallow DWC is that evaporation and temperature will be less controllable. More surface area means it will warm up and dry out quicker.
I just popped a seed of DinaFem Cheese.. they claim it's old school. Skunk #1 x Afghani Kush. Both of which are known to be very tolerant to indoor cultivation. I think it would be a great choice for a beginner. Good yield, good stone, good to grow.
I bought 6 today there.. and nothing else. Didn't even get a funny look! At just over 4 bucks a piece with lid and tax.. can't beat it. It's even silvery to reflect some light.
I'm thinking I may cover them during the dark periods. I can water them at lights on and a little before lights off. Going to try it without wrap at all and see how fast it dries up. They are sitting on some hydroton so I can't overwater and if they grow out of the rockwool they'll practically...
So maybe I'm high, but I can't think of one story, fact, tidbit of trivia or any information whatsoever about Japanese marijuana culture. Do they just shun it in favor of sake and tentacle-rape porn?
