Watering sounds OK. Stick you finger in the pot or check the weight. Once every three days should be fine for seedlings. Heat & light sound OK; you could go with just the CFL (no HID). I get good results with CFLs w/beer can reflectors for seedlings, then veg under T5 HO, then flower under HPS...

Nice plants! DNA website says 8-9 weeks harvest time. That last photo of bud looks pretty good. I too would look at the trichs, but I like just a little (5-10%) amber. If some the tops look done, you could take those and let the lower buds finish off.

How big is your space? If you got the space, and the $$ for the light/reflector/fans, then go for the 1000W! I got a lumatek ballast, hydrofarm reflector, ushio lamp, and a Can fan & filter. Look on craigslist, check ebay, amazon - see if you can get some good stuff at a good price.

Are you growing outdoors? Otherwise, I think you are better off with reg/fem seeds. You can flip the lights & flower when you want. In addition, in general most auto strains are less potent that reg/fem. I stole this from another post, and I kept it as a good reference:

Nice looking plants! You will get some buds out of that scrog! I like the new screens vs the chicken wire. I have heard where chicken wire is too sharp & can cut the stems. Look forward to seeing the new 'individual screen' method!
