I have my lights off during hte day and on during the night. During hte day I keep my intake fan off to allow the AC unit to cool the room down and with lights off I can maintain 83-88 lights off. During hte night I can maintain about the same with lights on and at that point the air outside...
If i did switch I could prob get lights out to 70-75 degress and lights on about 83-88 should i switch? Keep lights off 24 hours straight or leave them on 24 hours straight before change?
14x10x8, 740 cfm for exhaust, 350 for intake, temps inside during night stay around 78-85 and inside during day are around 80-90. temps outside room during day get around 90-95 and during night get around 85-90. about 2500 watts 2 1000s
Would it be worth it for me to do it? I run from 8am-8pm lights off. I've been able to keep the temps down during the day a lot more, but it seems like it might be better to have them on when the highest temps will be right?
During lights out my AC unit stays on that is pretty close to the plants. The digital screen on the froint gives off a glow strong enough to illuminate some of the plants in the dark. Does this need to be fixed?
The room is on the 2nd floor and takes in a fresh air from a hotter source usually. During the day too much fresh air pushed in the room gets to be too much. I figured that keeping the intake fan off during the day and keeping the exhaust on 24/7 allows the AC unit to cool the room down a bit...
it's some wall mount fan that I got from lowes, but I threw out the box and it doesn't have it on the site. I'm going to guess it's around 300-400 cfm and it's a large fan about 12" blade to blade..it blows air in almost every direction of the room. It's prob about a good 6ft+ from the plants...
Sorry to keep going back and forth on these posts, but it keeps me busy ha... I have 1 osc and one box fan in the room wiht the AC unit on and exhaust and im going to leave the intake fan off. Sound good?
ya, i have the exhaust running and my intake fan is big and the passive holes behind that fan bring in some hottttt air during the day. Think I should keep the intake fan off during the day and just leave exhaust on? Would it be worth shocking the plants to get them on during day and off at night?
So, if I have my lights on during hte night, should I still keep everything off during the day (lights off), even all the fans? Should I keep my AC unit on and maybe 1 fan pushing that cooler air around? Gets pretty hot during hte day.
