I think Yellow Chicken Dinner will be next in the 2x4. But I may stop the yellow treatment and just top dress with Dr. Earth going forward. :eyesmoke:

Because the Chill Bomb looked good today I decided to top and do some super cropping. Yesterday the plant was topdressed with 1/4 cup Dr Earth Homegrown 4-6-3 and rice hull mulch. The soil is three parts HP Pro mix combined with one part rice hulls for added aeration.PXL_20230701_210050101.MP~2.jpgYesterday I also watered with 10-1 water to urine mixture. Tomorrow I set up the automated water system (16gal tote with a timer and pump). :hump:

Gotta be honest you lost me at urine mixture :bigjoint: . If it works for you then go for it though. I take 8 different medications a day so my plant would be very screwed up I'm thinking if I went that way.

Lol I wanted be honest with what I fed. It has worked fantastic in veg but it was just for curiosity. I will only be using Dr Earth dry amendments and maybe fish fertilizer for this plant going forward. :bigjoint:

Sucks she turned 59 days inn. I'm sure you will still get decent smoke out of it! Gary Payton sounds like some killer smoke.:weed:

Something came up and I needed the 2x4 tent space for a different project. I figured it would be cool to see how the XS1500 Pro does in a 2x2 tent. Instead of starting a new journal I just continued in this one.

That’s cool. I may do the same.. I would start another thread.. well, maybe I will idk. It calls for a lot of commitment that some days/weeks I may not have time, or I may simply forget.
The Gary Payton is supposedly the cookies Fam cut. The stem rub has a strong juicy fruit gum smell. Never smoked or grew it before. Im excited just off the terps alone.
The xs1500 pro in the 2x2 went awesome! One pheno may have been more sensitive to light, or a heavier feeder than I’m used to, but it produced some pretty fat nugs for 150w of light.
 
The 2 XS1500 Pros worked fantastic in my 2x4 tent I was impressed. The performance was just as well if not better than any of my lights. Hot spots were at a minimum for a QB. The light distribution is killer long as the two lights are spaced apart properly. The optical lense technology works!

It would be nice if ViparSpectra made a bracket 9 1/4" to keep the lights spaced perfectly. This would make daisy chaining easier. Also it would be nice to have a more adjustable dimmer switch. It currently has 5 settings 5% 25% 50% 75% 100%. It's not a big deal because I can adjust the height to fine tune the light.

I Will keep putting hours on this light and see how it's longevity is.:peace:

If you get a chance give this thread a read by Stardog. He talks about the exact same issue and how he got his light to be 0-100% adjustable. Hope it helps.

How do I fit a dimmer to a led ?

I've got a dimming switch from another light i could use. Is it possible to use that on a light with stepped dimming, like 25%/50%/75% and 100%, could that be set to 100% and the power controlled by the dimmer from a spare light? Is it as simple as splicing the dimmer switch into the +/red...
