He wants to avoid jail and go back to his old life (so he thinks), he's mostly looking for a way out and it might be that or your mama's (or your own) life. It's the destruction of the economy that will motivate Mitch and the GOP, they serve the rich while coning the stupid, they don't give a fuck about the people. Besides, who are the base gonna vote for, a democrat?

I just hate how it feels like the whole situation is being weaponised.
Ideally, I would want to trust the government, but then again they have been caught administering syphilis to unsuspecting people for tests.
That trust ship has long since sailed off
I have for a while been wondering what would be the governments of the world's out...
they were pretty much, each and everyone, in a bottomless pit of debt that just kept growing.

It's one possible scenario for ending the nightmare and that's about it. I doubt Mitch will go for it and don't know who would initiate it, if he did pull the pin on Donald it would be for his benefit and not Americas. I do know one thing though, it will get much more desperate by summer and 30% unemployment is worse than great depression levels. You might not have job to go back to and could experience hard times before the year is out IMHO. Who knows what will happen, the truth has already been stranger than fiction, as they say, ya can't make this shit up.
Update: After I published this piece, Apple and Google jointly announced a project to embed voluntary contact tracing functionality in their phones, and make the data interoperable across iOS and Android. Read my colleagues at Recode and the Verge for more on that (and here’s some smart analysis from Casey Newton). And Danielle Allen, the head of Harvard’s Safra Center, wrote to tell me that they’ll have a more detailed plan coming next week, and it will differ in some ways from the papers they’ve released so far.

Trump is as crooked as it gets and we stupidly gave him the loudest microphone on the planet. And he is using it to keep himself in power because if he doesn't he no longer gets to get away with everything he has been doing. Hopefully every other democracy learns from this and helps their citizens to realize the weaponization of online data on the propaganda that they are being spammed with.
Luckily Russia was stupid enough to rope Trump into this who was too stupid to keep his mouth shut and hired a bunch of idiots that couldn't either and he has been breaking laws nonstop trying to keep it all covered up.

Im glad about that when it comes to elections. I really am happy that the FBI had been vocal about being ontop of it. I just hope this Grenell guy doesn't have the ability to do anything while being acting DNI with zero senate confirmed members in his department anymore.
Its a bummer the Republicans care more about saving Dear Leader than the laws he is supposed to uphold.
