You did the right thing, I had hell with my 2nd grow in DWC when the temps jumped. Thats when I started using mycrogrow and added a chiller my self. With the chiller I have seen some real nice growth in the roots, don't for get the air bath once a week.

Hey How's it going? Thanks for stopping by my journal and having a look.

You did the right thing
Was that directed at the flora shield?

Don't be a stranger, stop by anytime.

Peace.

If you own 28 different foods , 65 different additives and 14 jugs of molasses and not one single book on plants then that is the problem. https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-mar...r-feeding.html
Funny that's in your sig because I don't own 28 different foods, 65 different additives and 14 gallons of molasses. However I just got a hold of the 2001 edition of the Cannibis Grow Bible E book. Plus many more that I downloaded off Extra torrent.com. I'll be reading for quite some time.

Peace.

Where ya at Dropa?
What up CG? My mom was over today using the PC for like 7 hrs so I did some yard work and played with the beast all day. My plant is still good except for the some fan leaves that are looking burnt and crusty. I know I'm still a noob but let me tell ya, I will have this shit dialed in. What I really want to do is kick that tech support guy's teeth in from GH because I don't think he knew is ass from a hole in the ground. I really think that flora shield fucked my baby up.

I was outside today checking out a grow spot for a cpl of them clones. I'm wanting to drop a cpl of em in the ground tonight. It's supposed to be raining off and on for the next cpl of days and I figure it would be a good time to do it. The only problem is the temps at night are gonna be in the high 40's to low 50's around here for a while and I don't know if those low temps will be good for the clones.

I also got another squirrel cage exhaust fan from my dads today. It's an old one and I'm not sure what the cfm is on it but it looks like a heavy duty fan. I gonna mount it the flower room maybe tomorrow to see if I can't get those temps down some more. The highest it gets in there is 83 but I want to get it down to a steady 75.

Check out the pics.

Peace.

Your Dad sounds like a cool dude.

Consider yourself lucky.

I would probably wait a week or so til you plant the clones.

Pretty low nightime temps.

Yea, either the temps got too high, or the additive geeked em out.

That fan looks heavy duty..a nice addition fer sure.

Wish you the best bro.. :)

Send me a pm if you wanna chat.

Yesterday I broke the room down and pulled my girl out. I wish I would have taken some pictures of her out of the room but I was in a bit rush trying to get her back in before it was time for lights out.

I removed my two hydrofarm exhausts and replaced them with the new exhaust I got from my dad and that thing really pulls some air. I think it does better than both of my other exhausts put together. If I need to I can put one or both of the hydrofarm exhaust back in. I want to see how the new one performs on it's own first.

I plan on using at least one but hopefully both of the hydrofarm blowers for my veg room but I wont have any results on the new exhaust until late tonight or early tomorrow morning because I'm putting my lady through 28 hours of total darkness to change the light cycle up. I want my lights to come on at 9 pm and go off at 9 AM. This should help with room temps being that they will be in the light cycle during the night when temps outside are cooler.

I've also been flushing her out with straight pHed water since Friday afternoon and I've seen some improvements in her health already. I think that was the best thing I could have done for her.

I've got another 13 hrs to go until lights are back on so I'll have another update tomorrow afternoon.

Peace.

Sounds like you been busy.

Thats great Man, always nice to perfect, and or fine tune.

You definetely got the right stuff, just a lil more tinkering and you'll be yielding heavy.

We have all been there, done that. Totally normal what your going through. Believe that.

Have a great day Brah.. CG :)

Yeah sometimes I wonder If I have what it takes but usually that's when things are going wrong and I'm all down on myself. When things are going my way I get rush that's better than any high. I know I'll make it work because I have confidence in myself and a desire to learn and hone my skills. It's all about trial and error my friend.

Thanks for the words my friend.

Peace.

Thats the right attitude! :)

Correct, It is all about trial and error bro.

If growing was so easy, then why is this forum jam packed with problems, and people wanting answers??

Think about it.

Once you dial it in, you'll know what you've done wrong, and never lose another step on the ladder.

Its a process mang, and dont think you will be a pro in a short while. It dont happen like that...No siree.

Here Iam on my 11th year, and I still have problems!..hahahahaa!

And Iam far from a newbie.

I do know one thing, that alot of new folks out here dont wanna believe.

"Organics dont work" and anyone who uses it will never see the true yield of their Mj strain...

Anyways, Never give up.

Its frustrating at times,..I know, but that makes the good times even better.

Dude, your next grow will be awesome...I just know it will.

Only listen to the experienced hands on individuals out here, and not the manufacturers who wanna sell you this and that, Like AN.

I have decent high yielding plants, ya know why?

Because I dont throw 10 different things in my buckets, or soil... especially organic "shit".

Too many people get involved with hype, and then it becomes the domino effect, and pretty soon everyone buys into it, like Pro basketball shoes.

Anyways, keep your chin up, be strong and everything will come together like a jig saw puzzle.

You'll be ok.

Chill out and take a breather, Your a cool dude, be strong, and win this battle. Here's a joint to you!!!!! CG :)

Yo CG your words of wisdom are always an inspiration to me my friend. Thanks homey.

Just two and half more hours until I get to check on my girl. I hope I see some major improvements in her and my grow room. I walked past the room today and could faintly smell them outside the room for the first time. I hope that's a good sign.

Check ya later my brother.

Peace.

Hey Dropastone... I am very excited about the 2nd room! Having plants ready to go in when you Harvest Rocks! Awesome job on your cloning 2! You now have all the knowledge and experience neccesary to say Good Bye to the street dealers!

Oh Hey, I picked up some wisdom on my travels through foreign Forums.... Hot Shots - No Pest Strips! I cannot tell you how much time and money I have spent fighting off bugs every several weeks. Mites, Thrips, Fungus Gnats...... are all BANNED from my Garden now! This shit works like friggin MAGIC! I brought home some clones that had mites and hand dipped them for 2 weeks every other day. After forgetting about them for a couple weeks I spotted some webbing. I finally broke down and bought one after hearing about them, I mean come on, how can a $7 thing that looks like an air freshner, that you just set/hang in your room really work? But, I figured I could hold off spraying for a day or so to see how well it worked. To my surprise, after leaving it in the room for 6 hours while the lights were out, every bug in the room was DEAD! The warning on the package says not to put it in an area that you use for more than 4 hours a day (humans/pets), so I put it in a ZipLock bag in the morning before I start playing. Weather you have bugs or not now, get one! If you put it in overnight, 1 or 2 times a week, I highly doubt you will ever see a bug in your Garden! Try it out, then spread the word! I wish I would have tried this in the begining. :hump:
