IMHO, yes, it does. The complicity is insidious.Does ignoring systemic or structural racism equal racism?

but you just SAID in the post ABOVE..to gain nom and win, you MUST (or what YOU refuse to consider..LACK of minority demographic) have these demographics.Trump isn't a Democrat. African Americans and Hispanic Americans are an insignificant fraction of the GOP.
Did I really have to tell you this?
any treatment + or - which translates to, while may not be directly..sure as hell is.IMHO, yes, it does. The complicity is insidious.
i had to google this because my mind doesn't even go there..unlike yours..YOU have serious issues.Uptight. Up. Tight. Hmmm.
Upetty?
You have serious issues.
but we would have had 8 years of pragmatic..nothing really changing; just the same old, same old..gop in dead heat with freedom caucus who is in dead heat with dems.I like the first paragraph, I see value in that perspective. But I disagree with the second; Clinton by definition would have been better. Trump has sunk to lows I couldn't even imagine being possible pre-2015. Clinton is just the Old Guard of progressivism IMO. She has walked that line of compromise for so long it's all she knows. That's a strength in many ways, too. Look who we are dealing with!
wrong..FAILED LIES..mr. lilly white.LOL
You completely got it wrong. Bernie didn't "let" those women from the Black Lives Matter movement speak, they went up to the stage and forced the issue. Bernie backed away as if they were the plague. They had not been invited and nobody from that movement ever was invited to speak at his rallies.
This does count in my world. Bernie was fucking uncomfortable and he never tried to make amends. Not even after two occasions when BLM activists forced the issue.

On Saturday, Black Lives Matter organizers Marissa Johnson and Mara Willaford got on stage and took the microphone away from from presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders to remind him that the Black Lives Matter movement is the grassroots movement of the 2016 race. As a black woman, a part of me felt like I should have stood up and cheered when I watched the video, but I also felt downright uncomfortable. I cringed at the sight of women who look like me storming a stage and making themselves heard. I couldn’t put my finger on why.

those who didn't vote were simply no longer willing to eat the meal presented. chicken or fish?Clinton would have been more of the status quo, the one we were told for 8 years was 'hope and change' and 'good enough'. Not as bad as batshit crazy right wing authoritarian wannabe, but not really better, either.
Better would imply a step in the right direction. The reason she wasn't elected is because not enough people felt she would be better.
It's a subtle but important distinction.
In your use of the term, a pet rock would have been a better choice than the Chump! And I'm not disagreeing with you.
The fact that America elected the Chump tells me that maybe he had to happen so that people would wake up. That wouldn't have happened under a Clinton Mk II presidency.
This is why I think the Chump presents a powerful and unique opportunity to the Progressive Left, one we must not squander if we're to make real progress for the other 90%.
mansplaining is cutting your pubic hair off or in designs. This is true. Republican congressmen have no idea who they are dealing with. They mansplain, correct and say stupid stuff like "shrill". If it were reality TV that is not really real, it would be funny.
if you don't understand what's to stop you from clarification? i do.I'm no mind reader and you are no writer, so no apologies for not understanding you. If you really want to be understood, try being more clear and less disjointed.
I agree that Clinton wasn't a great choice for many in the African American community. Witness the lower turnout of African Americans during the general election. Bearkat gave a very eloquent reason why he couldn't vote for her.those who didn't vote were simply no longer willing to eat the meal presented. chicken or fish?
NOT voting is the same as a protest vote, in this case.
the fact of the matter is clear, minorities protested against clinton to make it count; to make her feel 'superpredator' and 'bring them to heel'..THAT'S how minority populace drove it home!
improvements must be voted upon.Sorry, a little slow this time. I think change comes slowly. I would like to think improvements would have been made.
good god..doesn't matter who is president, we need too clean up house/congress.(I wish we could fire them all) fix our laughable electoral college: return to a true republic with states rights.
states are at the welfare of the federal government, which makes it impossible for them govern themselves. they are too scared(and they should be) to loose federal money, the fed's hold over every state. without federal funding, every state would be bankrupt in a year or less.
IMHO; the president is the least of our problems.
we must restore the republic state by state. stop the federal corporate oligarchy.
which question are you asking about? I'll answer if you'll tell me which one.you don't have to be a mind reader..you can simply read and answer..no one else seems to have issue.
me: the sky is blue
you: the sky is apple colored
you didn't answer my question..why so dense? a: your culture made you that way. you can't undo culture. culture = beliefs and superstitions handed down each generation.
no matter how educated; you will still be a slave to it.
witness? i posted an article on low minority turnout..dear black voter?..i was branded KKK practically.I agree that Clinton wasn't a great choice for many in the African American community. Witness the lower turnout of African Americans during the general election. Bearkat gave a very eloquent reason why he couldn't vote for her.
What do you think that Bernie meant when he said in December after the election that "people are tired of political correctness rhetoric"?
which question are you asking about? I'll answer if you'll tell me which one.
Is there one white culture? Should we project on onto others the worst of our culture or best of it?
Apples are many colored. Thanks for the metaphor. To you the metaphorical sky is one color. Makes sense.
In any case, there are many ways to address structural racism without demanding people change their beliefs. Except for the justice system. That one can't be run by racists any more. Or wouldn't in my apple colored sky of a world.
I'm not defending Hillary. Your point about Hillary wasn't germane and I ignored it. Hillary isn't running for anything.witness? i posted an article on low minority turnout..dear black voter?..i was branded KKK practically.
all you did was rag on bernie and his minority plan..i kept asking for you to post hillary's, which you completely ignored 3 times minimally.
