thanks hippy, it's good to know you're still lurking around here! the top colas feel pretty dense, and the side ones are fluffy and light. my guess right now is about 22g on the blue cream and about 18g on the amnesia (but she might puff up a little in the next couple days, who knows). either way, looks like it'll be over a zip in total, just hoping the p.m. didn't get to the heart of the buds, that would be a sad ending...

thanks kmk! and thanks for the well wishes about the p.m. i took a quick look this morning when i gave them their (probably) last feeding, and didn't see much PM, so that's a good sign. i did kinda fry them yesterday though (it got to 99deg in the box, so maybe that helped keep the PM away). anyway, for sure we should all meet up. like i said, there's three events going on in the bay area, and i'll almost for sure be going to the first and third ones:

ah, i get it now, makes more sense . never heard the ssh thing. i as so happy with the amnesia i sampled before, it was sweet and energetic and very euphoric. i'll probably post reports at various stages of curing!

hells yeah!! one more light cycle to go before these babies go into darkness, and then chop sunday night (it might be on the late side)!


still gotta figure out the air/ventilation for darkness period. normally i guess you'd want a medium level of humidity, but given the PM issue, i'm gonna try to keep it on the dry side, so i'll probably crack the box door open. can't wait!!!

plus you watered them recently also so you're gonna want it very dry 30% if ya can.

thanks for the tip stoneyluv, i take all your advice very seriously! what would you say the ideal temperature range would be? (not sure how much control i'll have over it, but always good to know what i would wanna shoot for). the first day of darkness i will be around to monitor temp and rh, but the next two days i'm out of town, so i'll be hoping for the best!

Just got caught up bro and them buds are looking DANK!!! for sure bro your gonna have some good smoke...

It look good but i think it would do better with hps light.

Not everyone that grows has the space for an HPS setup. Plus some people like to grow but have to have a stealthy setup in a micro based grow so HPS really isn't viable here. CFL's work great for small bushy plants and provide a nice yield for the personal smoke grower.

His buds look dang bro and at the end of the harvest he will be enjoying the fruits of his labor CFL's or not

thanks for the support fellas. always gotta be a cfl hater out there... i'm glad this didn't start earlier in the thread, but now it's ON mutherfucker!!! haha jk. honestly i don't doubt that hps is more efficient, and if i had a way to keep temps down i'd consider it, but i get more bud than i need with just cfl's, so no need to upgrade yet

For sure man, I'm there with you I want a bigger system but current environment makes it impossible to upgrade past CFL's at this point and time.

I think it would be better if instead of using a cardboard box, you used a commercial grow room. And...

This is like looking at a haiku and saying: "it would have been better if it were a sonnet".

IMHO, this grow is an outstanding example of a very particular sort of DIY grow. If you are going to criticize it, do it on its own terms. Sigh. OK. Sorry.

Anyway homie, I got a ton of shit going down with my grow right now, and I'm so excited about our chop on sunday, CD as well! Man, a lot of good shit going on...I wish you lived down here, and you were my neighbor, and we could grow giant outdoor buds that reach over each other's fence..I'm stoned and silly, haha, just giddy cause vegas is coming up I think. Keep it up, wish you could start another grow right after this one

i hear you bro. i'm just glad that cfl's work so well. although i'm also curious about going l.e.d. in the future. expensive initially, but temps are low and consumes less watts for more efficient lighting. stoneyluv's grow makes me wanna do it

definitely no point in replying to the jackass, i mostly replied "ironically" . it's the typical troll post. anyway, thanks for dropping in bro, i just caught up on your thread and shit is looking GOOD in MetaLand. ah man, that sounds like a sweet scenario, having some 6 foot sativas peering over each other's fences haha. nice visual brother. hope you have a blast in vegas dude!! who's taking care of the plants while you're gone? and i wish i could start another grow right away, but i gotta take care of bizniz first. i'll still be around a lot though, following you guys' threads, posting smoke reports, devising new photo techniques, don't worry

The plants are gonn a have to fend for themselves while I'm gone, only gonna be in vegas for 4 nights, so a good watering and rez change monday morning before I leave, and I'm hoping they're all good till friday afternoon. I mean, as long as the DWC plants stop growing soon, cause I don't wanna come home to plants burned, but I'm thinking the seedlings in party cups should be good for a few days, at least I'm hoping...Watered Monday morning, gone tuesday wednesday thursday...Watered Friday evening...yeah, that should be fine!

As long as your temps are good and you give a good watering you should be alright. I had the luxury of a buddy stopping by 2 times during my last trip so that eased my mind.
