sounds like it'll be no problem if you keep the lights at a good distance. they might be a tad dry when you get back, but they tend to perk back up right away.
As long as your temps are good and you give a good watering you should be alright. I had the luxury of a buddy stopping by 2 times during my last trip so that eased my mind.
word. i wish i had a watering buddy... it would make my life quite a bit easier
For sure on the LED I've heard there nice but expensive for the good grow oneslol.. I found a website where I can get a 400watt hps cooltube, ballast, bulb, timer, hangers and wings for the cooltube for like 260, just need space
that sounds like an alright deal... i'll probably also have to figure in the cost of an inline exhaust fan & carbon filter so there's more air movement to keep the system cool. so many options... gonna have some time to consider the pros and cons after this grow is done!
ok guys, here goes possibly the last set of pics of the girls before harvest... they are at 60 days of 12/12 (about 8 weeks of actual flowering). when the lights go off tonight, they won't come back on again
. the girls will be in darkness from tonight till sunday night, and then chop chop chop, trim trim trim, scissor hash scissor hash scissor hash...g13 x amnesia haze at 8 weeks flowering...

Sweet, I'm getting ready to do the same, a couple seeds didn't make it above the surface, but I have those other seedlings I started a while back as insurance to fill in for 'em Anyway, your buds look good, excited about the chop on Sunday and I'm glad I've gotten to share this growing experience with you, my friend. WOW, everything looks phenomenal! I hope to have buds that good when I'm done, but I'll probably be on the smaller side, but agaon...WOW, Beautiful looking ladies and buds and number of bud sites is impressive.

. i'm gonna be away for two whole days (days 2 and 3 of darkness), so i hope all goes smoothly in terms of temps and humidity... don't want that pm sneaking back in right before harvest : / . anyway, your seed/seedling success rate is very impressive man, 19 (maybe 20) out of 20 to pop, and most breaking surface, you should be proud. probably won't be on too much in the next couple days, but sunday night (probably late night) is when all the magic will be happening in HomerVille. take it easy bro!thanks a lot grey! you have a very impressive set of plants yourself! i have no doubt you'll get some big ass frosty buds out of them in due time. thanks bro!

haha, yeah that BC is definitely looking ready to pop (in a non-pregnant way, i hope...). don't wanna count on anything yet until i see how the pm situation looks when i harvest, but if it's mostly in good condition, i should be getting somewhere arounds 1 and 1/2 zips dry total, which would be more than sweet! thanks man.

I'm sticking with my guess of 22.4 grams dry on the blue creme, and I'm thinking 24.2 on the amnesia. you're gonna be soooo wasted from the scissor hash!!!!!
I'm getting all excited and they're not even mine!!! what's the next grow gonna be? I know you said you were gonna take a break but i was wondering if you had a strain in mind?

thanks for dropping in stoney! i think you may be right, i hadn't even noticed it! i just took a peak in the box while lights were still on and took a couple of closeup shots... if it's a seed, do you think it's a late stage hermie survival attempt thingie? (in which case, it would be likely to be a fem seed?). anyway, i'm psyched about that, and thanks for pointing it out!

p.s. thanks for the ambitious weight guesses, by the way. i actually think BC will yield more than A based on the feel of the buds, but we'll see. as for my next strain, i might try some OG Sage seeds i picked up a couple months ago. it won't be for a while though, probably, gotta keep the missy happy, you know

i wouldn't say hermie, a hermaphrodite actually produces both sexes, you have a female with a seed... i have found them is some of my plants. I have never had a male plant!! back in college i was taught that all plants could grow one seed to survive itself. I have seen a few of my MJ plants do this... i didn't see them until i went to smoke them... it's like mmmm this smells good then BAM a big huge surprise, a seed!!! from what i have read if there is no males present then the seed is female. I don't know if this is true or not. I have also read that if a plant is grown to long it starts to sprout seeds, I'm not sure if this is true or not. I'm not sure how long because i have seen grows go to 90% amber and they didn't have seeds..... so many myths... so little facts!! I just keep growing the way i like and the way that makes me feel good.... some of the shit i do might be BS but i like to do it! it makes me feel good!

stoney, ain't that the truth, so many myths, so few facts! i'm a very science oriented guy, so i try to pick out the good info whenever i see it. your theory sounds right about that last ditch seed, so i'll go with it for now . what do you suggest i do if there really is a seed in there? just leave it curing with the rest of the bud, and store it once it's good and dry? peace bro. thanks for all the tips throughout my grow. you're alright

Thanks bro! yea, leave it cure.... try not to have any pressure at all on the seed.... that's why you see flat spots on some seeds. it could ruin it! wait till it gets so dry that is falls out on it's own. then seal it up for rainy day!!! I always write the name of the strain and the date i found it....

Homer looking good. My first plant had a couple seeds. I burnt one in a bowl and almost lost the entire thing, one wasn't developed and the last one was perfect and very "round" which is more of a female trait opposed to football shaped. Anyways good job on the seed. It looks like both of us have a very mysterious grow ahead of us. The seed will be tucked in that pod pretty well so stoney was right, don't put any pressure on it, one of my popped when i tried to twist the calyx off.
