Yea that doesn't sound too promising especially for an expensive light. Please keep us updated on how lumatek handles it.
yer i have a good relationship with the shop i bought it from they are good guys and will bend over backwards for me no doubt about it. its a shame they dont have anymore instock or i could have just swapped the drivers. so like you say im hoping lumatek just send out a replacement driver asap so i dont have to dick about packing it all up ect.Hopefully the vendor doesn't dick you around, and ships replacement driver without demanding return of goods first. I can see Lumateks hefty margin shrinking considerably if what happened to your light is a guide to the general reliability. This is an inauspicious start.
Can you do them for the £They are brand new lights, i dont even think they have been out long enough to finish a run with them.
Maybe the £750 was for the one the apprentice dropped off the back of the tail lift on the delivery wagon.yer i have a good relationship with the shop i bought it from they are good guys and will bend over backwards for me no doubt about it. its a shame they dont have anymore instock or i could have just swapped the drivers. so like you say im hoping lumatek just send out a replacement driver asap so i dont have to dick about packing it all up ect.
I'm getting one, a soon to be North American version with in 110v.Yeah, was checking these out looking into their Attis , square light.
Heck ova deal. Further investigation brought me to their single bars designed to be added to the Zues Driver.
So, imo, the Zues 600Pro w/ x2 , 100w bars added, would disperse the 600w over x8 bars rather then x6. Reasoning for doing this is not so much for coverage but for efficiency & longevity. Edit: After reading more on the link posted by DIYLED below i noticed there are more diodes in the Pro-Model, increasing the efficiency.
And the build quality looks better then i thought based on Lumiteks site last month.
I would buy this over the Gavita or Fluence all day. I have yet to see or hold the Lightweight Amare 640w Bar units, so can't speak to the comparison on that & truly need to touch a Lumitek before jumping to conclusions.
On another note, you see the Attis 300? Peep the spectrum. Has IR. Unless it just comes out that way after losses through the frosted diode cover?
Very affordable fixtures.
Editted: For the price its gotta be one of the best deals going. Id get it as is n ride it till the diodes fall off.
These have peaked my interest for a minute. Posted them on "Led Companies with links" or "Led Users Unite".
Nice! The Attis or the Zeus?I'm getting one, a soon to be North American version with in 110v.
If you chose by photons the zeus 600 pro hammers the HLG. And for high-light plants like cannabis, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PHOTONS BABY!Thanks for that.
Which light would you choose between the zeus pro and HLG 550 Rspec?
What's the price of this Zeus anyways? If you chose by photons the zeus 600 pro hammers the HLG. And for high-light plants like cannabis, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PHOTONS BABY!
Yea it does look pretty badass but too expensive for me right now.If you chose by photons the zeus 600 pro hammers the HLG. And for high-light plants like cannabis, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PHOTONS BABY!

The LUMATK zeus 600w pro was selling in England for around 850 pounds but couldn't find a dealer willing to send one to the states. Lumatek will be selling American versions without the Lumatek branding in a couple months called the '1620u'. That's to solve trademark issues with another Lumatek company. It will be $800 for the first people who preorder, then $1000 per after that. So got my order in after seeing the Migro test on YouTube. Best light Shane of Migro ever tested so that's good enough for me to try one. What's the price of this Zeus anyways?
I saw the spider farmer test on migro and it looked good. Almost ordered one but ended up preordering a Lumatek North American version coming in a couple months.Yea it does look pretty badass but too expensive for me right now.
I decided to go with 2 315 cmh and 2 spider farmer sf1000 in my 5x5. I'm new to led and the spider farmer looks like a decent entry level light to get started with.
It is the HPS ballast company right? The LUMATK zeus 600w pro was selling in England for around 850 pounds but couldn't find a dealer willing to send one to the states. Yes they sell ballasts and high pressure sodium bulbs. Web site is lumatek-lighting.com Now they have LED units, a 200 watt, 300w, 600 watt unit, a Zeus 600w Pro and a Zeus 1000w Pro. Still don't know who makes the LUMLED chips in the Zeus 600w pro. I thought it was Lumileds as in the regular 600 watt version but LUMLED is not just a misspelling of those Philips Lumileds. Wonder what's going on, never heard of LUMLED before. They tested mightily at migro...check it out.It is the HPS ballast company right?
There are other Lumitecs all spelled different, i know.
The LumLeds are made inhouse by Lumitek i read. They are custom i guess. Kind've like the driver.Yes they sell ballasts and high pressure sodium bulbs. Zeus 600 pro rebranded for the states within a month or two. Hopefully it'll last longer than some poor fellow's already croaking. That's spooky. But it's also all about the photons so we'll see how long they blast.Nice! The Attis or the Zeus?
Those are in the basic 600 model.I thought LumiLEDs were made by Phillips. It might be a different spelling or something though.
@grotbags . Did they get you up and working?yer i have a good relationship with the shop i bought it from they are good guys and will bend over backwards for me no doubt about it. its a shame they dont have anymore instock or i could have just swapped the drivers. so like you say im hoping lumatek just send out a replacement driver asap so i dont have to dick about packing it all up ect.
Any further developments?well good start from lumatek...not!.
light arrived on monday, went together easy really impressed with the build quality everything was more substantial than i thought the heatsinks are nice and solid i expected light weight cheaper sinks. the lenses or waterproof coverings look crap they have cast lines in them hard to explain but they dont look the best quality.
the dimmer is shit why they thought it would be a good idea to just have - OFF,25%,50%,75%,100% is beyond me it makes getting an even light spread across the canopy when blending with other leds really hard.
i was going to try a different dimmer on it but never got the chance because today the light didnt turn on!, its dead jim!!!. i presume the driver is dead, tried changing the fuse ect nothing. unhooked the dimmer in case it worked like a meanwell where open dimmer circuit is flat out but no go.
so its back to the shop on monday to see how good lumateks customer service is...
