Looking nice and healthy my friend. I like the idea of the chicken wire you got there. So I take it you just start weaving the top through the wire then when the lower branches reach the wire you just star weaving them into it as well spreading the canopy out? I'd like to try that out sometime.

Peace.

Everything is looking pretty good, I hope the ones on the screen near the edges fill in more I have a feeling they might be a little stretched, but if I didn't put that one under the screen it would be 5ft tall or more.

I have stopped the open sesame, and eased up on the Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom, went with a 4 gallon mix in 5 gallons of water. I think the next water will be straight water to flush any salts that might be buliding up in the soil, we'll see how they respond to this watering.

Got a couple nice bud shots this go round.

Well I used it to make a 5ft sativa donimate (I think)tree into a 2ft bush, I shoulda started under the screen but that was more for height issues with that plant it would be like 5-6ft tall and kinda lanky, so I put in the screen and bent it sideways underneath putting whatever side growth I could as evenly as possible across the top, and stuck another plant underneath cuz the one wouldnt' fill much in time, let it bud for two weeks, pulling down and moving over, not weaving, and putting back through, the holes I have in my wire are small and need 2-3 inch holes roughly so you don't have to rough up tops like I did.

I'll be doing more ScROG when this batch is done. I shoulda put mutant under a screen as well, to tame this bushy bastard lesson learned on that though, hopefully nothing will cause me to veg for 2 months again. I know what these plants will do now as far as growth.

making a even canopy right now is tough mutant is just to big. I could probably tie it sideways and all the side branches down and pretty much fill half the room. lol

DSC00587.jpgDSC02013.jpg

The top healed to by the way nicely, formed a big ole spot where it bent, and is nice and sturdy again. I didn't put the memory stick back in the camera, so I had limited internal memory, thats why I only had a few pictures. lol

Tonight or tomorrow more pictures.

Here's a cropped picture with red lines drawn on the stems to give you an idea of how tall it really is. Hopefully you can see'em.

Hell ya man your got that screen filling up nicely. You got hairs popping left and right and your clones are looking great. I'm looking forward to seeing those buds fill out.

Great job pickle.

You and me both brutha, I'm getting really excited being this is only week 3. I did notice some yellow tips after I mixed up my watering mix last night, I'll be running straight water through them on the next water, I am going to give them some beastie bloom after they get a good flush, I'm sure there is some build up in the soil.

The thing I find odd about my grow so far, the smell is very faint. When I've brushed against some bringing some out to water, I really smell it but thats about it, kinda odd.

I am really interested in this one, when cut or rubbed it has a very strong citrus smell.
DSC00624.jpg

Another one has the smell of cooked egg whites or something similar in smell its very ODD smelling, not sure if thats good or bad. lol Its not mold it was smelling that way even before buds formed.

I can't wait for the second round with a little more knowledge of how my clones should grow it will be easier to work twords an even canopy.

The next time I get to the room I am going to see if I can tie/pull some stuff around and make it a little more even, the screen isn't getting the intensity being mutant is a good foot and a half higher than anything on the screen, hence the stretching way in the back corner, I think that has to do with the lanky girl, in general. Thats the way she seems to grow.
DSC00272.jpgDSC00618.jpg
This was a little bit before it was put under the screen to keep height down.

All in all, I think things are going well, its day 18 of flowering today. They were put on 12/12 June 29th, 2010. Really want some other feedback, Dropa as always I appreciate the post.

Anytime brah. The one I'm growing now is the same way when it comes to the smell. The unknown bag seed I'm growing now only smells if I brush the tops but when I do it's nice and strong. Just because it doesn't smell don't mean a thang man. Actually I consider it a good thang because you aint stinking up your house.

I'll be lurking around, Peace.

Think its the 20 day mark, lol. Here's a collection of misc bud shots with some clones and clones in dirt. Enjoy. :)

Lesson learned hopefully its not to bad. Looks fine so far, but we'll see. I ran water through them the best I could the ones that could be moved were easier to run a bunch of fresh water through, the screen and mutant not so much.

I don't see any adverse effects yet, we'll see what happens after they get another watering of straight water.

The ones under the screen were still moist this water, thats why I started to investigate the nutes. Ususally everything dried out equally.

Need to design up something better to let the trays drain easily under the ScROG, but this was a hurried effort, so ...

Here's some pictures.

I'm currently plotting out how to tie down mutant and tame that tall bastard. I need to get the lights lower, and its going to take a little carefull planning to tie it down and get even light to all the other plants in the room. I have trained mutant a little so its sorta flat on the back side which I'm hoping will allow me to turn it around and pull the top down a bit. I might have to take some of the smaller lower branches off I'm still up in the air on that one, it will all depend on how dense it is on the back side once I attempt to turn her around.

I haven't seen the kids in two days, I'm pretty excited and worried at the same time, wondering how well the flush worked and if I will have to continue. I think the ScROG plants will have to be flushed again, based on the moisture level. It wasn't soaking up water like the rest, I think they have locked themselves out a bit, hopefully the water I ran through them has been used up, and I can water with just plain water just in case, unless they exploded then well....

I'm curious to see how well the clones are doing, more so the ones that made it to dirt, I'm sure 90% of everything in the clone tub has made it successfully. I have hydroton in all 15 spots and I will be able to see where the dry spots are, I believe that 2 spots require me to put in another sprayhead, which I might get to tonight depending on how long things take.

Since I'm trying to move mutant I'm also going to put mylar on the remaining white wall on the side, and see how much that helps. I might also add a little to the ceiling above if possible, trying to squeeze as much out as I can, I am really leaning twords adding another 400w to the space.

I will update tonight after I go tend to them.

As you see blow the temp is kinda under control, checked the high temp and it was 88.4F and the low 68.4. We'll see how they do now that I added another fan.
DSC02054.jpgDSC02053.jpg

As you can see below mutant is just beastly. The tie'n effort was a bust, couldn't really move to much around without blocking alot of light so I did the best I could and got more light to the spindly branches, with a lil string and a screw on the wall. Can't really see it to much in the pictures though.

Well I aquired some clones of white widow so they say, I have smoked from the plant its very tasty and looks very like it, but seemed dwarfed, first thing I noticed was the hard clay like soil they were in, so I transplanted to Ocean Forrest right away, in larger pots. The roots on these need some TLC. I couldn't believe how bad the dirt was, said it was happy frog, but seemed so compacted and not loose and airy like it should be, should be interesting to see what I can do with the clones. He was saying that it has lost its potency, but I think by looking at the dirt he gave them to me in, that it might just be the way he's growing.

Here's the 3 clones I got of it, along with some nugs he grew.

This is about 4ft down from the top of the light.

More updates after the break.

These are on the ScROG, kinda a slow grower compared to the others, but we'll see what they do.

Well was trying to get my rust spot/nute burn under control and noticed that one of my budding females had what I thought were seeds at first, but come to find out they were pollen sacks, so needless to say that I pulled and chopped that one down, didn't want to seed up the rest of the room. So I'm down to six in Room A now.

Looks like I got the PH/Nute Burn under control and growth has resumed, Watered with straight water again. They just gotta make it 4 more weeks'ish, The ScROG ones look like they might take longer.

DSC02140.jpgDSC02145.jpgDSC02131.jpgDSC02142.jpgDSC02123.jpgDSC02120.jpgDSC02133.jpgDSC02119.jpgDSC02124.jpgDSC02125.jpgDSC02135.jpgDSC02141.jpgDSC02144.jpgDSC02127.jpgDSC02132.jpgDSC02143.jpgDSC02129.jpgDSC02134.jpgDSC02138.jpgDSC02128.jpgDSC02130.jpg

Well the hermi I found a couple days back and cut, must have gotten some pollen out there hopefully they arent full of seeds, only looks like a couple so far, but time will tell. I inspected the rest and didn't see any male sacks on any of them so looks like the first batch will have a few seeds. Pictures later...
