Only a low life, non contributing progressive would have the nerve to complain that the FREE stuff they receive is not enough!
If these pukes would get off their lazy entitled asses and become part of the productive American society, we'd all be better off.

You're forgetting police and fire protection, use of roads, food inspections, etc., a myriad of services we take for granted. As I read it, you're complaining that you don't receive enough and others don't give you enough. Sorry, but your attitude doesn't instill sympathy. Seems kind of greedy to me.

EDIT: additionally, i don't think you have the right to comment..how much of that illegal 125k grow went towards infrastructure or taxes of which you speak? greedy, me?:wall:
 
They still lobby. Lobbyists aren't limited to just causes you don't like. You're trying to redefine a word because you don't like its' connotations.
 
Lobbyists got their name from the habit of them hanging out in the White House lobby, waiting for president Lincoln to walk by. Lincoln believed there was a Constitutional right to do so.

The management of political influence is one of the biggest drivers for human effort throughout our history. If you outlaw the lobby, count on it that some other self-interest organization or syndicate ... bigger, dirtier, greedier ... will arise to take its place and with even less oversight. To me, identifying the political lobby as the worst element of our process is in a way consoling. There are much worse imaginable arrangements.
 
Yeah, it kind of boils down to treasure is spent, for influence, or there is mass blood in the dirt to settle it...thus it is ever so.
