Hanimmal said he was content with the way the current American laws work in regards to corruption. Current American corruption laws allow legal bribery; that is, anybody can form a SuperPAC and donate anything they want, effectively subverting FEC cap donations and rendering that organization feckless.

Apparenntly you're OK with that, too. You support legal bribery so long as it helps you.

To people like you, this is exactly why bribery exists; because the people in charge support it when it helps them. They only complain when it affects them negatively. They have no principle about it.
Yawn.

I guess you can't do any better.

did you know that the last time the Senate held a vote to repeal the Citizens's United ruling, a ruling that opened the doors to today's unrestricted campaign donations, every Democratic Senator voted to support restricting campaign donations and every Republican voted against them?

Every Democratic Senator put their name in the Congressional record as an opponent to the Citizen's United ruling.

Vote Republican out.

Also, Bernie sucks. Because he's a do-nothing senator, not because he's against unlimited campaign donations. His record is just like every Democrat in that regard.
So all the Democratic Senators voted against CU when it didn't actually matter

That vote might account for something if they voted against CU when it did actually matter. Let me know when that vote takes place

So far, Democrats like you still support the unlimited funds bit negating any moot vote that took place, so while you say you're against it, you continue to support candidates that abuse it, because it's "legal"..

That's why people don't trust people like you or the candidates that claim the same.. and that's why someone like Biden or Buttigieg won't excite the Democratic base to come out and vote for them

I think Sanders is going to lose

Not because of his agenda/platform, but because of all the obstacles against him

Biden is going to win the Democratic primary and lose to Trump in the general election

And Nancy Pelosi will owe the Republicans for all of those votes they gave her for the position of Speaker of the House.

You are a legend in your own mind.

It's a little bit funny how much you cling onto that when the reality is that without progressive votes, Pelosi would have required Republicans to remain speaker.

..a little bit

It's not though, because I have a sense of empathy. I actually feel bad for people like you. People like you say I shouldn't..

When was this magic time that it would have actually mattered?

It was in 2008 that the Republicans broke the 2002 bipartisan campaign reform act. Obama gets in office in 2009 with the largest economic collapse since the Great Depression, and CU is not ruled on until 2010 when the Republicans took over in the house from the millions?billions? that the mega wealthy white males like the Koch brothers dumped into the 'grass roots' Tea Party movement effectively ending Democrats ability to legislate.

The Republicans have been a step ahead in their constant shell game of keeping power and you actively help them do it with your outrageous stances that will never be the reality in America. Because it is economically stupid.

When Democrats hold control of congress

Conveniently, the Democratic party doesn't vote on things that actually matter when they control congress because their corporate donors don't allow them to.

Some people let them get away with it because Republicans

Bullshit, getting us out of the Great Recession actually mattered a lot, ACA actually mattered a lot, the Hate crime bill mattered a lot, repealing don't ask don't tell mattered a lot, the 'new start' treaty mattered a lot until Putin decided to go to war with the world. The Democrats got a lot done before the Tea Party was pushed into power.

Are you an American? Do you understand that we have been under attack nonstop online and that the propaganda that you read is designed to hurt our democracy?

Economics don't matter

When was the last minimum wage hike again?

Superficial accomplishments don't last. The next Trump that comes along will just issue an executive order to defeat it

That is sad as fuck if you actually believe that
Dude, Bernie Sanders has accomplished exactly nothing of value in his 30 fucking years drawing a salary as a politician. The one bill that he proposed which managed to pass would have been done without him just the same. His greatest accomplishment was fracturing the DNC, leaving us vulnerable to the agenda of the GOP.

read it again, chumley.

Then again, I had to explain Bernie's bill to you, so just fucking repeat your mantra and don't get hurt but the facts. Every Democratic Party Senator voted FOR the amendment that would have repealed CU. Democrats support campaign finance reform, you idiot.
