Yup, as with me,..I am however on the side of the fence that wants to see more managable ways to buy large capacity magazines. I am opposed to haveing that managment cost anything to the owner. All I see coming out of the Gov. so far is no ban, but costly licence and application fees and excise tax. That`s not good and may be the real scam behind this whole thing to begin with !i

doesnt matter. at 50 ft i hit a target with more than half a 20 rd mag on full auto and i had never shot it before. a guy with a 100 round drum could take all the time in the world to fix his sights as long as he has his weight into it. a very good portion of your rounds still end up on target. granted not as many as if you were aiming with it on semi auto and its really not all that efficient to just empty mags into objects but sometimes you may have to.
a big magazine can do a lot for someone. especially when you need to keep someone or something at bay until you or someone else can deal with it. but its also a lot of extra weight to carry. if i could i would own an m249 not to shoot regularly or for home defense but to have for defense of my country if need be and regular just good old once a year drive out to the middle of the desert with all your toys and shoot the fuck out of stuff... but cali is way to gun phobic for something like that. but other states are not with the proper tax stamps and shite. some shooting ranges and gun clubs i know in nevada will rent you a fully automatic weapon without supervision for use at their shooting facilities or shooting range if you have been a long enough member. wait i got high and forgot where i was going with this point tbh. to each his own. i guess it was more or less random facts.

17hmr is more accurate than that. flatter shooting bullet and if your shooting 150 yards it will lay hole on top of hole. its my little varment tack driver. although i would never recomend hunting a dear with such a small caliber round. not enough punch to get the job done the first time if your just a few hairs off. then the dear runs off and suffers for no reason. even shot in the face if you miss a vital part a dear will run off for a while and you would be lucky to find it. it will run off with half its face missing. had a buddy shoot a dear in the face with a .223 and we had to chase it for miles into the woods when we were younger. its best to hit right behind the shoulder with a larger caliber round where most of the vital parts are. even if you miss a vital part you most likely took the shoulder out of commission which means no running and chasing and possible waste of a kill. you just simple come up and finish it the most humane way possible. a .223 or one of its close friends. but no smaller.

Bullet technology has improved immensely in the last few years. There are 5.56 rounds very capable of humanely taking a deer out to 250+ yds.

The second one stumped me for a bit. I think it's either the .45 "Short Colt" (typically headstamped .45 Colt Gov't) or its sister cartridge the .45 S&W "Schofield".
I would have liked to see the .45 Win Mag and the .454 Casull in the lineup. Jmo. cn

Honestly, I think America will last forever. Maybe in 100 years we will merge with Russian and China to form one supernation. And then all others will follow suite, leaving one nation controlling the whole world. Like having different countries doesn't make sense after a certain point, all countries are starting to converge on a common type of government I think.

Right right. i built mine for hunting hawg and deer if i so choose to (and can find some here in Commiefornia). That .17HMR is a wicked little round but i agree, not for mid-sized game.
