Help 1st Grow! What Kind of Deficiency is this "HD Pics Included"

The yellowing & necrotic leaf margins are caused by Potassium deficiency. There could be other issues contributing to the problems but that appears to be the main one. Slight N def can make the yellowing at the margins move inward, causing more all-over leaf yellowing. The irregularity of some...

As Mys said, plz post the soil and also what kind of fertilizer your 20-20-20 stuff is (and any other ferts you use). It sure looks like nutrient burn, in which case flushing would be the next step.

    whats wrong with my girls?

The yellowing along the leaf margins is from Potassium deficiency. The little brown spots starting to form at some of the leaf tips is Phosphorus deficiency.

Need help my plant looks awful ..pics

It's hard to say for sure without being able to see pics of the whole plant but the browning leaf tips looks like nutrient burn. If it's burn, it'll be worse at the smaller, lower & older leaves that are close to the soil.

How many watts can a standard light socket support?

The exact answer to your question depends on a number of factors. All proper household wiring running at 120v can handle at least 1800w, and so all light sockets should handle at least that much. You should check the socket, it's package, call a store that sells it at or call the company that...

    B-1 Help.....UN-Shock treatment?

How long ago did you remove the rock and develop this shock? Shock for a plant usually means trouble absorbing and/or transporting water.

    Soil PH

Add a light sprinkle of hydrated lime onto the soil surface to correct its pH and just use pH 6.5 water & fertilizers.

what is it? nute burn? calcium? i dont know!

Interesting. If the damage is really as orange as the pics look, it's boron deficiency. A very rare condition. We've only seen one other person on these boards with that problem. There could also be some P &/or K deficiency affecting it as TheX suggested.

    any nutes for seedlings?

The plants start needing weak nutrients when the three-bladed leaves start growing in. This is often when they get transplanted from their inert seed-starter medium into a nutritious substrate. When not using any ferts in the substrate, they can start getting their normal vegging NPK at half...

    Topping and 1st

It depends. You can do it however you want to. You could top first and then use the two shoots to go opposite directions around the pot. This way you complete the circle sooner. Then, once you have your circle, you can top the shoots that grow upwards, splitting each into two colas. You have to...

    NPK requirements with Organic Growing

It's not every other day, it's every other watering, or at least in the opinion of some it should be. Fertilizations are usually best alternated with plain waterings. It helps prevent the constant buildup of crap from fertilizing every time, washing soon to be degrading nutrients both into the...

    CFL for Mother Plants?

That's plenty of light for two small-medium mothers. The biggest benefit of fewer, higher wattage bulbs over more, lower wattage bulbs is penetration. Adding more bulbs of the same wattage doesn't really increase how far the light reaches, but increasing the wattage does. One of the factors...

Plant "rusting" and yellowing on side leaves, ridges of leaves curling upward. (PICS)

You'll want to use a full dose of the Tiger at next watering and you shouldn't get any more leaf tissue death. For the time being, anyway. Good luck

    skinny steam

Oh and btw, if your CFL's are spiral 26w (100w equivalent daylight bulbs), then they can only support healthy growth about maybe 6" away from the bulb. Often a fan is necessary to get the lights close enough without causing too much heat.

    skinny steam

Different environments need watering at different frequencies so we can't tell for sure by how often you water whether you're overwatering or not. That said, watering every other day with no fan drying the soil out seems excessive. As the soil dries out, the plant grows its fastest and it really...

Plant "rusting" and yellowing on side leaves, ridges of leaves curling upward. (PICS)

Any of those can help the problem, but you really should try to aquire a high-P fertilizer like Bone Meal or certain Guanos. Since you had the problem using your current ferts, it may take new ferts to completely fix things.

    veg room

Standard MH is typically better for veg and standard HPS is better for flowering. Enhanced spectrum versions of either can perform better than a standard version of either bulb in all phases of growth.
