Are you using ph down, some types of acid used can turn you P into a slime (think about your plant trying to absorb that). You will feel it on all surfaces of your system. Look it up.

low pressure areo/DWC is not the same as flood and drain. OP, It could be not enough water or too much water, if the medium is wet and you are flooding again, it's probably too much water. for young plants only water when they are dry(er) ..good luck JR Edit: i just looked close at the pics...

make sure your fans and everything are not touching the exterior walls. You can get a dimmer (buy a good one not the 35 dollar ones at a grow shop) it slow your fan down and make it much quieter. Foam on the walls will kill a lot of low level noise...Let us know. JR
