    Outdoor 1gal pots

Sorry to chime in late on this and to sound like a Debbie Downer...but this plan of harvesting early and/or leaving it to someone else to see it through just seems like the kiss of death to me. Forcing flowering early?? Moving flowering plants?? C'mon bro....it's not going to turn out well...

Pheno Hunt - Paradise Seeds' Ice Cream (Hydro Style)

Here's a testament as to how quickly a deficiency can bust out on you in hydro, especially DWC (phosphorus deficiency). It was hitting individual leaves on some plants, but it was striking the entire branch on this mother. I was very, very tempted to cut this entire branch off of the main...

    R/P - SKYWALKER round 2

@Herk - Nice stripers! We fish for them in Lake Powell a lot. Been getting bigger the last few years as the older ones are gorging on the smaller ones. Powell is overpopulated with them and they raised the 25 fish limit to no limit about 7 - 8 yrs ago. Catching less fish the last few, but...

Pheno Hunt - Paradise Seeds' Ice Cream (Hydro Style)

Classic case of early - mid phosphorus deficiency. Started seeing it in the mothers a couple of days ago and it advanced rapidly in the lower, older growth. Ph was too low for too many days (5.5 - 5.6). Decided to do rez changes and I'm letting them sit in some 6.0 R/O water for a few hours...

General Hydroponics Vs Botanicare? Which will prevail!?

Very nice, uniform grow. Mad props to this side by side. To clarify, an earlier poster stated that the"Kind" series is organic. This is not true. Botanicare's Pro series is, indeed, mostly organic....but the "Kind" series is more synthetic. Either way, I'm impressed with the results. I've...

Pheno Hunt - Paradise Seeds' Ice Cream (Hydro Style)

Just rollin along....a few clone shots (these are the days of maintenance and waiting). Ran into a phosphorus deficiency in the mothers by running them too low (5.5 - 5.6 ph) and it reared its ugly head VERY quickly. I did a 5 gallon rez change on all reservoirs and Ph balanced to 6.0 - 6.1...

    Thundercat's Groooooooow

Muchas gracias brotha. Here's a vid I found showing the use of a syringe filter...looks like a perfect solution. Did you ever get one and/or did qwiso say what micron size of filter to use? (by the way, the suggested videos at the end of this clip will get a chuckle out of you...have no...

Pheno Hunt - Paradise Seeds' Ice Cream (Hydro Style)

1 week old veg clones culled from 23 to 12 (will narrow to 8 for flower). Took another dozen clones just for the hell of it, as backups to mothers, and they all rooted yesterday (day 6)

    What are the spots?

Your ph looks higher than 6.2 on that strip. I usually have my ph around 5.6 - 5.7 for seedlings. Good reading on infrared thermometer (love em...have 2 myself). From your photo, I believe that seedling is getting too much light. That's a lot of intensity for a young, fragile, just hatched...

    What are the spots?

Nice photos and info. Yours are definitely early trichomes. Still, I do not think the OP's seedling looks healthy. Trichomes, perhaps, but not healthy with the burning and general look. For the sake of the OP, I hope I'm wrong.

    What are the spots?

Interesting opinion. I would not be relaxed if my seelings looked like that. I hope you are right. Just my honest thoughts.

    What are the spots?

That is a unique problem you have there. Please post ALL growing conditions. Room size, type of hydro, ventilation, filtration, air temps, water temps, water Ph, nutrient PPMs, type of nutes, relative humidity, etc., etc., etc. The more info you can share, the more that people in this forum...

please tell me if not what i think it is

I'd go with just the shock for starters in cloners and H2O2 in your rez. Both have been of help to me in hydro. Maybe Vostok thinks I'm a "bullshit troller", but I don't claim to be anyone other than an individual who strives to help others through my experiences. I guess he's the "Resident...

please tell me if not what i think it is

HTH Shock 'n Swim. Mix 1/4 - 1/2 tsp per gallon to RO or Spring/Distilled water (let stand for 1 - 2 hrs then shake very well) and add this diluted mixture to rez at the rate of 7.5 ml/gallon every 4 - 5 days and at every rez change. Problems will be eliminated.

Help my plants look like they have N toxicity

Looks like nute burn and heat stress to me. Azamax, when sprayed with lights on, can and does burn plants, especially newer growth (been there, done that). If I ever use it, I spray right after lights off with my LED headlamp. If you're in a 420 friendly State and you've brought in clones...

Foliar Feeding - A Success Story

I have read many things over the years about foliar feeding. One person says it's great, the other person says it does nothing. Well, I'm here to attest to the almost immediate benefits of foliar feeding. Here's my most recent story: In my current pheno hunt for Ice Cream by Paradise seeds...
