1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

Nah man, i'll jump over hoops if it means someone doesnt have to go through the learning pains that I did. You can buy a 20lb co2 tank at any welding supply store, there should be plenty near wherever you live. As for the nutrients, It's hard for me to say, as I'm still trying several others...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

At the back of the producer there is a small housing around the intake fan. You can pry this housing open with a screwdriver, just enough to run extra air lines. I pried the two top housings open, and ran 2 air lines through each, giving me a total of 8. My 2 extra dual diaphragm airpumps just...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

I can't post any pics of the buds im afraid, camera is on the fritz... also why I haven't started my next journal yet. But the quality of the buds is outstanding, myself and friends are blown away. The buds and the hash are both top knotch. One thing I will say, is that it's a lot more of a...

Bubbleponics 800W ICE, NL 1, and Papaya

Aquarium chillers are a colossal investment, and there aren't many that are DWC able for less than 300$. Not only that, but they require their own submersible pumps to pump water through them, which add more heat. Once invested though they work phenominally well. Some options I'll recommend...

BC Northern Lights Producer Grow #2

You're breaking my heart. I hope you nail down a solution soon. I totally agree about the branching, it just becomes a wet mess in there if the air isnt allowed to pass freely between the plants. I'm thinking of going just a couple branches on each plant at the very bottom, rather than the...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

They are well built machines. They are worth the money in my view, but might want to consider buying second hand, as they are very, very expensive. If you grow twice properly, it's paid off. GL

Bubbleponics 800W ICE, NL 1, and Papaya

I use 1-2 ml of 35% hydrogen peroxide per gallon. Let it sit for 30 mins before adding nutes. enjoy.

Hydro DWC - Technaflora 'recipe for success' peroxide question

I had absolutely terrible results with sensizym, i wouldn't recommend it for a second. Go to your hydro store and look for dutch master zone. Also, there are some articles about using a small amount of bleach to keep the roots while as well (believe it or not). if you're not using any beneficial...

    AN grow, micro, bloom

You can use them without boosters, but I would recommend buying their big bud product, or a competitors PK booster product, they work very well, and are very reasonably priced. The ratios to use should be right on the bottle, and they are on the advanced nutrients website. The veg ratio is I...

Any experts using Advanced Nutrients in a hydroponic system? (bubbleponics)

You *can* change your tank every 2 weeks and top off with nuted water in between, but I don't recommend it. I don't like having stale water in my DWC. I change my res every single week. I mix nutes for that week, then write down my PPM. Then, during the week the plants will drink more water than...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

How does your solution look? nice and clear? if its cloudy or smells bad, rapidly rising pH can be a sign of bad bacteria multiplying in your res. it might just be that your pH buffer was expired, or defective. Try GH or AN's buffers, and check for any slimes or smells in your res. ph...

Any experts using Advanced Nutrients in a hydroponic system? (bubbleponics)

It's very volatile stuff, so go very light. I use 2ml per gallon of the 35% stuff. So, in my 10 gallons of water I mix in 20 ml of hydrogen peroxide to the water, then let it sit for 30 mins so the oxygen releases into the water. Then, I add nutes, and add to my plants. Very important to do this...

Any experts using Advanced Nutrients in a hydroponic system? (bubbleponics)

I might be able to help you a little bit, as I use AN, and are experimenting with some of their additives right now. The 3 part nutrient works well, i've seen it in action, I just haven't personally used it. I currently use their 2 part veg and bloom formulas. You use Big Bud from I believe...

    Veg PPM schedule?

If its clones, I usually start out at 200, and that gets a nice solid root mass going. Then I move up about 200 or so each week. In my setup I never veg more than 3 weeks, so I usually end up with around 600 PPM before taking it to flower at about 800-100. Good luck.

    Advanced Nutrient B-52

Uh... well, I'm not sure what to say about your ppM meter but I think it *might* be a little off. My first week of veg nutes has (in 50 litres of water) 20 ml of a 2 part veg nute, 60ml of b-52, 40ml of fulvic, 70 ml of voodoo juice and some others... this is mixed into tap water that's been...

Hydro DWC - Technaflora 'recipe for success' peroxide question

Mmmm well, the roots actually submerged look very very healthy. Actually a gorgeous rootball I don't mind telling you. The roots meeting the pod however don't look so hot. How does it smell in there? Your water looks nice and clean too. I would definitely follow the advice of hte above poster...

    Newb help with Nutrients.

Yes. Especially in the early stages of veg. Advanced nutrients is notorious for over-doing it on their charts... which isn't exactly bad news for your budget bottom line if you're smart about it. Start at half, record your PPM and slowly work your way up. You won't kill them feeding too little...
