BC Northern Lights Producer Grow #2

I *wouldn't* top in these machines. you won't have room in your canopy for several tops on each plant. You need some light penetrating, these are pretty much sea of green machines, but a bit taller. Flower at 6 inches, and cut the Co2 until the second week of flower, see where that gets you...

    Quick ? about Ph

Ideally you want to be checking and balancing your pH every single day in DWC. Some don't, but it's ideal to keep it in that 5-5-5.8 sweet spot. If you want to burn a strip every single day be my guest. I would, however, recommend investing in a pH pen.

BC Northern Lights Producer Grow #2

Hey Ancap, I was facing the same problem, so I got a little closet station myself, which you seem to have as well. You can place the little guys in the 3 inch rockwool, and let them sit under the CFL for a while. What can help you is placing a layer of perlite in the tray so the roots can grow...

Advanced Nutrient PH perfect for soil grow?

Homebrewer is correct. You do not own the pH perfect line, because it hasn't been released yet, and theyve been talking about it for a very long time now (i tihnk close to a year). You may own some of the re-released additives, but those have nothing to do with ph perfect. The so called ph...

PH perfect hasnt been released yet. If you think you have it, you don't. Theyve been advertising it for a very long time now, and keep claiming pushbacks because of labelling or this and that and the other thing. I wouldnt invest another minute in researching PH perfect until its out, because...

New Grower Using BCNL Products Needs Help

You're probably going to be growing moms for quite a while before entertaining any sort of perpetual harvest I'm afraid. Considering your setup, my immediate advice would be to get some clones going while you germinate your seeds. You can have an entire crop grown and harvested from clone before...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

By the way, I got a microscope and took a look at my trichomes. I would recommend this to anyone, it is so, SO cool looking at the crystals on your own plant. 25$ well spent. Mine are a bit milky, with the odd one out of 10 or so being amber. I'm hoping by next week there will be enough of them...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

Yea man your colas look great. I think you'll do fine, although I have no idea how your side branching is doing. I've seen medicine man using 4 t5 strips instead of 2, which makes sense because 2 sides of our plants arent getting any light if you think about it. I'm considering installing this...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

I've actually heard that letting your roots sit in the open air for a while in the dark is actually good for them. I do the exact same thing and I manage to get my weekly res change operation down to about 20 minutes. What I do is quickly take a min and add the hydrogen peroxide to the water i...

BC Northern Lights Producer Grow #2

Make sure the clones that are the shortest are directly under the lights, IE on the left and right sides of your box. As long as the roots hit the res at roughly the same time you should be ok.

BC Northern Lights Producer Grow #2

if you use h2o2 youll be destroying the voodoo juice, so thats a bad idea. A little bit of browning can some times be rockwool residue. What you want to keep your eyes out for is stunted root growth, slimey roots, or any sort of foul odour. Start using more frozen bottles, get that temp lower...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

So I went in to check my pH, and the one plant that was yellowing all over was looking really sick. All the fan leaves were really brittle, and just looked like garbage. I have no idea why, as the rest look fantastic. Also, the smaller buds just werent ripening at all on this plant, it was just...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

I mean to say in a years time, with the experience i'm gaining, to be able to churn out 1.5-2lbs out of these boxes every crop.

    Advanced Nutrients-Not So Bad!

By the way, I think you need to be more realistic about the prices you're using for bud. If you're buying or selling intelligently at those quantities, you won't be paying 280$ or $250 an ounce. If you're the kind of moron that grows 8 pounds of dope then sells 8th's at the front door, I stand...

    Advanced Nutrients-Not So Bad!

Of course it seems reasonable, and it is, but it's about what you're paying per pound of product. There are a colossal number of commercial growers who use nothing but a 3 part base nutrient, and are getting huge sticky buds with the lucas formula, a good dialed in program with some Co2. That...

    advanced nutrients help!!

I don't totally agree with Johnny, but his instructions on how to use those products is accurate. Take the carbo-load back, as Bud Candy is the carbloload + sweetleaf product, and you don't need two bottles of it. Bud blood is used for the first or possibly second week of flowering only, and...

    Advance Nutrients

I have a bit of experience with AN, I'll throw in my 2 cents. They have an incredibly large line of products, but you only need a few to get good results. Honestly, you could get great results (as you probably know) from just using the sensi a+b 2 part, or the grow micro bloom 3 part they...
