Im leaving for a week...what to do?

I've also had a setup similar to Gastanker, it worked great. Splifs right tho, the real problem is raising your light, they will strech making them seem to grow even quicker to get back to the light.

Dry and Curing, PLS HELP!!!!!! asap beginner, buds damp in curing????

Open the jars for a couple hours each day to let moisture out, if they seem very damp then yeah leave them out again for a day or a night.

Hey guys please criticize my setup

You will get more than enough bud for yourself and a couple friends from a 400 and 600w light. The key is to keep plants smaller learn training and or topping or any other method and keep the light as close as possible. With the lower wattage any bud under the canopy will be popcorn, Thats where...

The guy with the 6ft lady!

HEHEHE I pay 5.9 CENTS per 1000w per hour (Kw/Hr) but only from 8:00p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and up to 9.9 Cents per kw/hr depending what time of day & season, im glad its so cheap for 12 hours tho! it really keeps the bills down for my flower room! Yay Nuclear & hydro electric power! Of course Sun...

lol i thought about mentioning the fan on bungees too. I have mine on bungees and its great, the fans take a minute to spin up to speed so there isnt any real torque or movement in the ducting. Just keep the bungee tight and you should be able to get it where you want in line.

    How to run 8x1000w?

I think he was joking, I hope he was joking. I dont see how taking a feed before the main breaker will keep anything safer. I think its dangerous and for 8kw not needed at all. 50amps is enough for 8kw of light at 220v plus room for fans and equipment. A 6/3 wire is adequate to supply it. #6...

    How to run 8x1000w?

You will need to add the 50 amp breaker. If you want to get that sweet timer box the best setup would be to hardwire it directly from a 50A breaker in your main panel to the timer box, or to a 220v outlet and use the lame plug supplied. Make sure that you use the proper gauge (size) wire.

Gavita 300w Plasma full spectrum light

Oh also, this LEP (light emitting plasma) is so new that there are only a few bulb manufacturers who have just gotten into second generation product and still havent developed a bulb higher in the red, most applications for LEP are elsewhere and prefer the higher colour temperature. but I'm sure...

Gavita 300w Plasma full spectrum light

These lights are so new and expensive I dont think they are on many peoples radar yet. I'm waiting to see the pricing on gavita's fan cooled unit but a good chance its still way too much. Chameleon's flagship unit has two lamps and a bunch of led panels to help in the red but its uber $$$ I'd...

Awesome setup man, it really came together nicely. I like all the straight pipe & elbows, so much more efficient, that will help keep your temps nice and cool. Post up your journal link.

Hypothetically how much energy usage is too much?

What scares me is that electric companies where i am monitor usage on an hourly basis so it is very very easy for them to pick out a light running 12/12 every day. However if a grower pays thier bills they are the electric companies best customer, why would they want to bust them?

Hypothetically how much energy usage is too much?

A 600w would not register on an electric companies radar, especially if you pay your bills on time. I believe the rule of thumb is 1kw/bedroom before you are over the average consumption.

Its tricky arranging 4 tables under 2 lights, your going to have corners or ends with limited coverage. Give it a shot, if your not happy add another light or two.

Good call foam tape is the best, it helps stop vibrations from the fan too! I like the large aviation/ hose clamps, but they can be hard to find in 8" dia. Take your time and work and get it right and show us the final product, thats what matters!
