It all depends how big you let your plant get. Any quality yeild is alot easier from a hps lamp even 250w. Its money well spent.

Also You have something different for flowering right? Your going to need alot of CFL's if you want to flower a plant.

I've never had any benefits from running an intake fan, all passive intakes = less smell almost all the time. You can try to use the 720cfm fan to push air through your lights rather than pull.

Good question. I've always had to top dress. I tried using alot in the soil but it of course causes lock out, I found dolomite lime mixed in helped keep the ph in check but still for max yeild top dressing is required imo.

$1000 will get eaten up quickly if you dont have anything to start with, remember PH meter, nutes, soil, buckets/resevoirs watering tools, trimming cutting clipping & cloning tools & trays thermometer/hygrometer, circulating fans, etc etc etc. All the little things add up too.
