CFL Stealth Cabinet 1st Grow

This are awesome wall outlet -> edison sockets. Where did you pick 'em up?

Is it a Canadian thing to call it an Edison socket or am I just uneducated in lighting vocabulary. Maybe everyone calls it that i dont know. I had to wiki it, lol. So, an Edison socket is any standard light socket, at least in the US.

So to answer the question:
I got the wall socket --to--> Edison socket from the hardware store.

Some pics...not much to report....if anyone sees anything I could be doing better let me know.

Haha, alright man. I'm not sure if calling it an Edison socket is a Canadian thing, but it's what I've always used. He did invent 'em

Thanks man. If I ever finish setting up a mother room it's going to be a slew of 2 dozen CFLs, so those will come in handy.

I believe your plants are all largely indica inclined. ;)

I agree with the Indica statement, especially looking at the last pic.

As far as yield goes, it looks promising considering how dense the plant is but it's too early to tell for sure.

I hope it is indica! :eyesmoke: I was not sure because the other random bag seed that ended up being male had much fatter leaves and the NL has giant leaves. So this flowering random bag seed has had the skinniest leaves and the longest inter-node spacing. It also grew taller much faster then the others. Its probably a mix, maybe more on the indica side and the other bag seed mighta been straight indica like the NL. Either way I guess will see....
Here are some pics I took today...I moved the lights much closer....ghetto lst'd the main branch, basically hung a weight from it so it is a pretty level canopy

I think I got fungus gnats. I saw 4 flying bugs. They look like fruit flys or mosquitos. I read up on it and im pretty sure its fungus gnats. I killed 3 of the 4 I saw and I sprayed soil on top and down by the drain holes with cinnamon water with a splash of bleach. I consulted the bible and gardening sites and it said that should work..

Made some updates to my box based on suggestions from a what can I do better to ensure a better yield thread I started.

Lights:
Now has 2 26 watt 2700 cfls on each side of the plant
Raised the light board all the way up

Fan:
Short version...I added a powerful computer fan but its just like hanging in the box, youll see it in the pics
Longer version:
I dismantled the old DIY heater I had in there to get it out of the way and harvest its fan.
Its a powerful computer fan. There are already wires in there to run it but I didnt have it running because it was facing down blowing over a heat sink box that had a light in it (the light never turns on anymore because it has to get below 60 for it to kick on)

Looking very nice, Smokey. So how long has it been now since you started flowering her? If your still considering whether to take a clone from the NL or do the bag technique, I suggest taking a clone. If nothing else, you'll get some good practice in working with clones. Keep up the great work!
