Here's the right side of the AeroGarden lady :> She's really getting all the attention from the 3 cfl's beside her. The AeroGarden lights are about 1 1/2 foot above (Due to the main cola height); so again, this bud's main source of light comes from 3 CFLs. :>

I was thinking that I should start to flush and add the Molasses to the lady in soil. 28th or 29th was what I had in mind.. Opinions?
(Also, any suggestions as to what I can add to the one in the AeroGarden? I read that it's not suggested to use the Molasses in that type of medium. )

I am officially Flushing my ladies now. WOW are they EVER looking good. :>

1 TSP (Suggested Molasses) per gallon of distilled water into the lady in Soil.

The Aerogarden however.... I figured I'd try something.........

1/4 TSP of aforementioned molasses per gallon of Distilled Water..
So Far the AeroGarden Res looks fine.. It's been 2 days since I began flushing like this........

The water that I am feeding to the lady in the AG is soooo Diluted, I do not expect any issues within the res.. Hopefully.. :>

Magical Blue Mystic_one week before the chop.

These are

1)2 mids, one of which has spawned a seed. :>
2)The Top of the lady in the AeroGarden. It looks to have split into two main buds at this point. very cool; or it's re-vegged. (Doubt that)..

(I've counted 2 seeds amongst the 20 some-odd bud sites)

Smells so nice :>

I've gone full steam ahead with the molasses in the Aerogarden and there's no problems yet.
The Buds are REALLY swollen now. I'd say that they've added a good 10-15% in size (Swollen) in the last few days.

I sampled a piece this past weekend (Dried for 3 days; then did a quick Oven dry..).....Aside from the "Green" taste; there was also a pronounced "Blueberry/Grape Bubblicious" flavor.
3 of us distinctly tasted that (aside from the Green and harshness.. )

Can't wait!!!!

Update.

The lights have been off since last night and will stay off till Sunday when I chop the ladies down.

Question: My AG Res is 100% empty *minus the water in the saturated root mass*; the lady in Soil seems to be sitting in Concrete now (Soil is VERY Dry).
This is a good course of action, no? that being; Before I cut them down, and after flushing; I can keep them in the dark for up to 72 hours while keeping the air circulating?
This would help with the drying process and potentially help with the yield?

Thanks for any feedback!

Sunday when they come down and everythings cleaned up; I'll take a pic of the harvest before I hang them up.

Here's the BlueMystic in soil; 3 days before she comes down. She's been without lights for 1 day now and is sitting in a Dry Reservoir.

How does she look?

On a personal note: This may be common knowledge, but I figured I'd bring it up anyways.

I think that there is a notable downfall to using CFL bulbs;

There's little consistency amongst the Tri's when looking at them with a 420 scope. Some are cloudy, some are more or less clear, some are darker..etc...etc..

Would this be an affect of a typical CFL bulb's inability to penetrate evenly over a larger area?
there's the AeroGarden hood and 2 CFL housings that hold 3 cfl bulbs each. One of those is used exclusively on the BM in soil, the other as side supplemental lighting for the one in the Aerogarden.

Thx

:>
