I've always had good results for veg with t5s but I always read mh is so much better.. Not sure how it can be so much better cause I've always had extremely tight nodes with the t5 but since I have a switchable ballast now I might as well give her a try and see how it does.

How long will the half jar last you? I'd say wait as long as possible and get the most out of them as you can before you cure them.
I notice mine keep filling in but there's some small bud sites yet to fill in more but it's so early that I'm sure they will. I do hope for some larger nugs though, I'd like a few to be a couple nodes long or so when they fill in but who knows how large these buds will get

So I just fed the girls. I gave them all some nutes this time and their first shot of molasses :). Next time will be purely water and after that I'll start reducing the nutes but I will keep up the molasses. I'm only going to feed them a few more times before I cut out the nutes though. Lets see what happens. The sweet gods are looking like they are about to put on some weight in the next few days and I'm excited about that. I'll run molasses longer than the actual nutes but not by much longer. I think the shot of molasses will help them out quite a bit which will be nice. The trichomes are getting heavier and thicker everyday.. They will be some very potent ladies. By the looks of things so far the critical kush will be done earlier than all the others which is not at all what I was expecting.

The first 60x scope I got from ebay for like 6 bucks, I bought a 100x from a hobby store for 10 bucks. The batteries are more when they die lol. So I got down in teh crawl space and ran a line to the shed, there are some big ass spiders down there ..... And tonights the drain the res night oh joy. Thats usually good for a shed flood in the dark trying to drain and fill with a garden hose! Ill throw the large res in tomorrow so that should solve that issue in time for the deep freeze (I hate the winter!!!). If this grow works out may have a little extra money for a trip south hahaha.

The loupe I'm looking to buy is about 60$. It's 10x but much more then enough. No batteries required which is nice

I hate spiders.. I wouldn't want to be crawling around with them ugh.
Hopefully the grow works out better then you expect so you can get away. I may have more time then I thought during the holidays... Broke my hand yesterday so I surely can't work. Fuck my life.

Now I wish I had more room to start my new grow cause I've hot nothing to do :(
mthis Tuesday will be week 4 of 12/12. The molasses really kicked em in to high gear! It seems they've gotten much fatter and packed on twice as much frost already. Tomorrow I'll water again but only with molasses and no nutes. I'm getting happy again with these lol. Still wish I did a bunch of smaller ones though

I'm just about to pull the WR as I am just about out lol !!! I'm thinkin I'll get an ounce a plant average but hard to tell. I'll post some pics of the buds when done but lots of people in and out so have to pick the time as it smells up the place real bad. Shit luck with the hand. I use to start my plants in a little cupboard with a 2-2' t5 and then move them after a couple of weeks. Are you sure a 10 power loop is enough? I have always used 60x to see color of trichs. BTW nice cough. I cann't believe how much the WR has filled in in the last week and its been under 12/12 for 45 days and could be pulled now if I wanted. I did vape a little nugget tonight and gotta say I was kinda impressed but hard to tell really as with any new shit its good for the first couple of days then Not so much lol I guess Ive built up some tolerance after 36 years of smokin!! Opps 37 jeez!!! I have some molases as well from soil grow but not much good for nonorganic hydro I hear. I will flush out tonight and start running clear water for the next 5 days i guess, If I can wait!!! The mataro is looking real nice as well and starting to fill in nicely. So if I pull the WR in 5 days the total time will be about 70 days from seed so pretty quick!!

If you're thinking about pulling it now, give it another 3-5 days. That's my usual rule anyways.. Don't want to put in months of week and dedication to not get the full potential out if it. I ended up getting the 20x loupe to be safe but it's damn hard to check them out with a busted hand lol. Really sucks but luckily the cast will be off just in time to trim the girls up. I'm excited to see some new pics of how they filled in; I'm expecting mine are about to hit the second wave of growth now throughout the next few weeks. The strawberry cough is coming along beautifully and the buds are swelling up immensely compared to the others.. Especially the sweet gods which I'm just disgusted with. They will hurt my goal of 4-5 ounces I think.. Less they really pack it on now :s. the critical kush really has a great smell but the cough is so sweet and beautiful she definitely takes first place in the garden right now :). Oh and yes, definitely no molasses in hydro! Would not be good for the pumps at all, even if you let it settle in hot water and made it thinner than fresh out of the carton.

OH NO a big branch fell off today lol. I would have waited buster but Im about 3 days from running out so I did the nasty and pulled off one frosty branch. I did take pics and will upload them as soon as site is fixed ( cant access tool bar). This will take the pressure off as the one branch has close to an ounce of bud and there are 8 more!! Should be good!! Have you decided what your doing next? I still haven't decided but am leaning towards a different Kannabia strain. I may email the guy at Kannabia and ask him what the highest THC strain they have is but dont want a long finisher as I have to grow a shit load through the winter to last the summer. I may head to the swamp this year with some WR seeds lol. Also I think I may try to seed some of the females with colidial silver at the end of the grow season. Let me know what you decide for the next one. The WR clone I took is like half the size of the mataro so I dont think I will even try a clone grow but seeds would be nice at about $25 apiece there pricey!! I did grow a skunk#1 last year from Dutch Passion and it was real nice and cloned real well but had shit luck with DP for herming. So how many days from start to finish for the cough, I had read that it was a bit longer due to the higher sativa lineage?

Well I guess you don't have to chop the entire plant then :pI was wondering why we couldn't upload pics. That sucks a bit :(8 Oz a plant seems damn nice! Maybe I should do some of that next lol. I'm very undecided about the next grow. I keep thinking about the chocolope though but now the site says its sold out which really sucks. Maybe I'll do some citrus from kannabia, it looks and sounds amazing and really good prices on it. For my strawberry cough it'll be about 100 days but I took her out of my aerogarden and put her into soil so I think I could have knocked down 20 days if I put her straight into soil. 25$ a seed you should definitely make her pop out some seeds! My jewelers loupe is actually pretty good but a 40x would have been a bit better. It's hard with a broken hand to keep it steady enough to look at but with a 40x it would likely be harder so pick your poison I guess right. Some of my possibles for next grow are• Citrus (Citral x Hindu Kush x Bubblegum) - KANNABIA SEEDSThis variety gets its name from its citrus appearance, changing from a lemon yellow to an orangey shade. Sticky like its pulp. The flavour, while still fruity, tends more towards fruit gums, confirming its Bubblegum connections. It produces delicious hash and we recommend trying this variety with a vaporiser. It produces a large amount of resin and the branches produce dense, compact bunches of flowers with heavy buds. The typical Citral flavour was still present, but was masked somewhat by the toughness of the Kush flavour. So we decided to cross it with our most flavoursome Bubblegum, resulting in a plant with an amazing mixture of flavours. Trying it is like sipping a tropical-fruit milkshake. It’s a tough plant, highly resistant to fungus and insects and very easy to grow. It stands out for its adaptability to the most extreme climates, including mountain areas, thanks to its origins in the Hindu Kush.Flowering Time: 53-60 dys, End Sep, if outdrsYield: 500 gr/m2 indr, 400gr/plant outdrTHC: 15-18%Height: from 60 cms indrs, 180-200 cms outdr• La Blanca (Great White Shark x White Widow)KANNABIA SEEDSGWS is well known for its high THC and CBD levels as well as its medicinal properties, as an appetite enhancer and peripheral muscle relaxant. Its Skunk #1 heritage adds sweetness to it.To stabilise it, we crossed it with White Widow which give it a shorter flowering time. It responds well to very small amounts of fertiliser, so you must be very careful not to over-fertilise. We recommend growing in 5litre pots with a coconut substrate and drip-watering system for the best results. The resin concentration is astonishing, delighting any grower who sees all those huge “sugary” buds. Resin production can be stimulated further by leaving the variety in the dark for the last few days before cutting. To enhance the flavour we recommend using carbohydrates from the initial stages of flowering. The open-armed structure will give you hefty buds laden with resin, like shark’s teeth.Flowering Time: 60 dys, mid-late Sep, if outdrsYield: 450 gr/m2 indr, 600gr/plant outdrTHC: 15-18%Height: from 70 cms indrs, 2-3 meters outdr• Northern Light Blue (Northern Lights x Blueberry) - DELICIOUSIndica with a great medical value to reduce pains and chronic illnesses. Without exaggerating its organoleptic characteristics, this variety has a nice fragrance of wild berries (strawberries, cranberries...) giving a pleasant sensation of wellness and at the same time a sedative effect. Ideal for large meditation and relaxing times.100% indica THC 20% Indr Harvest Time: 50-55 days, if outdrs, mid-SeptProduction 500 gr/m2 indoor/outdoor Smell Low Efect Not specified Flavour Sweet fruit Resistance to mold: LowMedicinal value: Very high• Chocolope (OG Chocolate Thai x Cannalope Haze) - DNA GENETICSChocolope Cannabis Seeds, which were originally named D-Line, are a novice grower's dream plant! With a uniquely heavy yield and large heavy nugs, she is extremely easy to grow. This Sativa heavy plant likes to grow tall so beware if space is an issue, however she can grow out with a little training. We chose to cross our Original Chocolate Thai female with the Cannalope male, and then started backcrossing this to achieve a shorter flower time and still retain some of the Original Chocolate Thai qualities. What makes these Cannabis Seeds so special is that when you enjoy her you taste that chocolate you've been missing from the 80's! The Chocolope is the "ONE"! Not much haze, but you don't need it.With a 100% record in competitions she's entered, we know it's not just us that love her!Strain of the Year 2007 Hightimes1st Hydro Highlife Cup 2008, 2nd Sativa HT Cannabis Cup 2010 , 2nd Coffeeshop HT Cannabis Cup 2007, 2nd Hydro Highlife Cup 2007, 3rd Hydro Highlife Cup 2009, 3rd Coffeeshop HT Cannabis Cup 2008, 3rd Indoor Bio Spannabis 2008, 3rd Hollyweed Cup 200695% Sativa/5% IndicaFlowering Time: 8-9 weeksYield: 500-600 grms/m2

NO No not 8oz a plant, 8oz for the grow lol. God I wish, first hydro grow and all! So the Kannabia I have grown out are, White Domina, BCN Diesel, La Blanca, Mataro Blue, and Mataro auto. I am leaning toward Karamelo for the next one, quick and strong :-). Chocolope is nice and buddy likes it alot as he buys it out of shop in california. Hopefully Kannabia is getting more stability in there seeds as the pheno's were way different, but the mataro seems to be very close except 2 out of 3 have red stems at leaves. The Diesel was kickass but only 3 plants were real good out of 5. The White domina was nice, thats what I just ran out of :-(. I have three trays going now so I'll pick a couple of different ones and yes it may be WR we'll see in about 3 days when its dry enough to give it the packed full vapor test lol. I've grown a couple of cup winners, Super lemon haze, La Confidential were the latest and didnt have a lot of luck with both lol.

Were all the phenotypes from the company good even though some were clearly better? How did you like la Blanca?I was contemplating the diesel many times over but I think I've finally decided on my next grow. Almost. 2 critical kush6 white Siberian I have room for a bit more though.. At 4 feet long and 2 feet wide how many potters should I be able to fit if I only want them to be about 2 feet max; will put them into 12/12 around 1ft

The issue I had with different strains was the different heights with some plants getting way bigger than others and blocking light, but just put pots side by side until you can't fit any more lol. I had like 25-30 pots going in a 8x6 area and it was full to the nuts with me crawling around to water them and moving them in and out of light. As far as the phenos being good or bad is kinda relative. If I have 2 or 3 real nice ones, then the 2 or 3 that aren't so good suck, lol. Not sure if I would count on them only stretching a 100% of their veg height either as its been my experience that its more like 200%. This grows like 500% lol!!! but you can always train with screen, just train them to grow horizontal under screen and buds will grow up. chicken wire and that orange snow fence works great!! I emailed Kannabia today so we'll see what they have to say but i did enquire re: best hydro strain and quick.

Yeah the different heights do suck but trimming the taller ones stunts them just enough to let the others catch up but if some are taller then no big deal cause the lights will hit them. I do count on them going more than 100% but this is worst case scenario cause I don't want to think I'm going to have more then end up with less smoke but vice versa is beautiful lol. If I have to lst I definitely will be ready this time around :)

Yes your right and thats what I did with the WR clone and it is actually smaller than the Mataro, but I may have went to far as I didnt want it towering over the others. I did buy some Pato1 today and will probably buy the karamelo also but still lookin...lol.... hard to beat $42 for 5 seeds though. I see that Mataro has one of the highest THC % out there! I did not know that lol. So WTF is going on with pics am I the only one that has no tool bar??

buster8813

How many clones did you cut? The mataro does have a nice thc rating! I'd be curious to see what the other percentages are. I think you would enjoy growing the critical kush bro, it grows very well and smells insane.. Wish I could post pics cause they are frosty as hell! The strawberry cough just had an explosion of crystal on the buds and they just keep swelling even fatter. The sweet god is... Still a fuckin let down. I want to kill them for fuck sakes. Have you read or heard anything about white Siberian at all? It's white widow x with ak 47

White Siberian is the same back cross as White Russian I think but who knows what white widow was used lol. I didnt take clones from the Mataro as its cheap! And I really find that I have better luck with seeds. If I do find a really nice plant I will clone but preferr seeds. Who is the breeder for the critical? And yes that does sound nice, crystals and all. So I got a reply from Pato about issues I have been having with the Mataro and he says hes had the same issue (leaves are slightly yellowish), fuck!!! lol. PH is the issue and if I go over 6 it yellows. Also he recommended smile or White Domina of which I just finished the last of a pound or so lol.budnov20.jpg So toolbars back :-) and this is the White Russian.

Ohh so she is likely going to stretch like a beast on flower than lol!Might not be to bad though since I'll be flipping early..
Barney's farm makes the critical and what a damn fine job they did! It gets more and more covered everyday and the buds come to a point like pine cones.
It's nice to have the bar back, I hate not bring able to post pics lol.
Your trees look great! Those look like some nice fat buds, nicely done!
