Party for the Animals, like greens but more focus on animal rights and welfare. I voted for them last national elections more or less as a protest vote, their leader is the most reasonable debater. But they also favor the return of the wolf and I do not, plus they are for raising taxes for things local governments (municipalities) or national government should handle.
yeah, we have that sort also. Much care for animal rights while ignoring Somalia, Tibet and some other human-welfare disaster sites.

I’m not dissing animal rights as a principle. I am dissing the priorities.

well there the motherfucker is right there ^. Biggest culprit of the entire bunch...but he'll never face trial for killing all those people.
It's the same deal with Trump and rail deregulation along with the destruction of environmental laws and standards. A lot of those people in Ohio who were fucked by the derailment voted for Trump and will blame Biden.

There is little point in having a vote unless you also have the truth to guide your choice, but for the fear and hate driven, other things are more important than the truth, or even their own wellbeing.

While that's not uncommon for single issue parties, it's grown out to be a lot more. In fact, the human right conditions of Tibetans and Uyghurs are prominent items in their program. After all, animal rights are human rights too, it's not a (false) dilemma. Their main two items are a live-able planet for all its inhabitants, and, constitutional animal rights so animals are no longer treated as things/objects but beings with feelings that must be treated with compassion and respect. No testing on animals, no mega farms, no boiling lobsters cause "fish have feelings too". They're on paper quite radical and in practice very reasonable. Outlaw nukes, but stop worrying about individual EU member state economies when talking about sanctions against Russia and just provide Ukraine everything they need to defend. Main reason they're not my go to party is they are small and sort of split the vote of other left-winged parties. On the other hand, it's a great way to express my misanthropic feelings and troll the far-right.

That all sounds quite good but for one thing. I really like steak and sashimi. Plant-based nutrition is “what food eats” in this house.

I dream of the day when they can 3-D print a can’t-tell-the-difference Châteaubriand or chirashi from vegan substrates.

How many people are going to believe musk's lies? He's no closer to a self-driving car today than he was when he ran his mouth about it the first time with no preparation. He said it would be about 2 years in 2015...

There will be self-driving cars, when they are smarter than the driver, from my observations of some drivers that won't be long!

He's on to something, if women boycotted them over this it would force them to take a stand. Women make up the great bulk of their shoppers and they should fear them, they are a particularly vulnerable business considering their customer base. We have a similar chain in Canada called Shoppers Drugmart, the go to place for makeup and female needs of all kinds, not just prescriptions, they would fear such a thing with good reason!
