Ha! See? I hate to be right about this. Unless you have someone with you who's from the country, you take your life into your hands to pay 25% of what America charges.

Now why did this not give me a pretty info box link? It's CNN for God's sakes.

Why does everything like this have to be a fight?
Why does the human species have to run something into the ground so hard it leaves a crater before we can realize that we're making a major mistake?
We're destroying a resource...we're about to make a valuable species extinct...and we have to argue about how we're doing it? JUST FUCKING STOP ALL OF IT NOW...Fucking lobbyist have to gtfo...all they ever seem to do is expedite the extinction of species, exacerbate pre-existing problems, and cause new problems...Rules are rules for everyone, with no fucking exceptions, for anyone.

why can't you all click on the links? is it too much effort? right click, hit open in a new tab...it's how i've always done that, and how i intend to keep doing it...If you have even rudimentary security software there is no risk...
not suggesting you open fly by night weird shit, but a link to cnn, msnbc, even fux isn't going to turn your computer into a brick....

i know what you're supposed to get, i just don't bother to look at them. i'm either interested enough to look at it already, or i'm not even going to mouse over the link...those little blurb boxes are just another way to stop people from thinking for themselves..."what does the blurb say i shoud do?".....the sites with the best blurb writers will become more popular, while better sites with better information will fall out of favor because they didn't hire a good enough blurbist..... :wall:

This is just depressing...Human beings are greedy monkeys who can't overcome our own tendencies to gather as many shiny objects as we can.
Given incredible tools to communicate globally at will, essentially for free, and we immediately start to exploit those tools for personal profit to such an extent that regulation becomes necessary.
Give people the equivalent of a tricorder and a communicator in one pocket sized package, human beings use it to play candy crush and tell each other what they had for lunch, and how rude the sales person at forever 21 was. They also use it to replace developing a memory, relying upon a device that probably won't work in a real emergency, to tell them how to survive that emergency...
It is truly amazing to me that we have survived this long, and i treat every day like it could be the last one, because all it will take is the right mistake at the wrong time to wipe every one of us out..
Here's a thought. If the power goes out for a couple of weeks nation wide, these facilities, especially the ones with pools to cool the spent fuel, will dry out and we'll have mini chernobyls in 35 states, mostly up and down both coasts, but enough in the mid west to poison a lot of farm land...

And it all started with Addiction To Attention..ATA..it's own phrase and acronym.

And if your stupid hillbilly cousins are playing it, they nag you until you Ghost then Block their stupid ass invite.

Poison YOU SAY? Here's what's happening in my part of the woods.

Why is Colorado trying to block Utah's proposed oil rail?

A primary concern in the communities' brief is derailment and how an accident involving the heated train cars carrying viscous, or “waxy,” crude would increase risk of wildfire and environmental impacts.Oct 28, 2022

Do you know all the states fucked if there is a spill in the Colorado River?

One more thought.

We're the last of it, Roger. We can read a map, count back change and drive a manual transmission.
