You're right I couldn't be President, as many in here know, I retired 7 years ago at age 35. I also lived and worked in Wash DC for 17 years, so I have a better than average understanding of exactly how our system works. More than likely, far beyond yours, since you want to get personal.

The problem with your entire delusional argument, is you're suggesting I want to replace Obama with myself. I'm fairly certain the actual argument is to advance a Conservative individual with FAR SUPERIOR accomplishments, FAR SUPERIOR understanding of the economy, has a rational foreign policy AND an individual that hasn't openly proclaimed he wants to "Fundamentally Change America". As for the rest, you keep lapping up the pablum the administration and the MSM are feeding you. You actually think your position has more validity because a bunch of liberals in the Media parrot the lies.

Replacing Obama with ANY candidate would not fix it.. & your blowing smoke. 17 years in trust me, you still dont understand how it works.. or you would be working past 35 years of age no offence.. people who have Real careers would rather keep working..

So, I guess Ron Paul and quite a few other politicians that have been there a while and share common beliefs and values have no understanding how the system works as well? And of course your basis for this assumption is that their views differ from yours and some MSM puppethead told you so. Yeah, I'm quite confident in my political positions...that and I have history (unrevised) on MY side.

Think what you want about me, I decided not to keep working when I acquired enough to retire comfortably and provide for my family's every need, which allows me to spend endless amounts of time with my children. If you ever get to that point in life (doubtful with your defeatist/statist attitude), we'll see what choice you make. I wouldn't trade my life for anyone's, I don't care what you have, well I might swap with FDD for a week.

If Ron Paul knew how the system works he would not have wasted his time trying to run as a Republican candidate for POTUS...He will never get the nod from that party....

A little over a year ago, the Tea Party was regarded as a fringe group of gun-totin-beer-swillin-right-wing-extremists that should only be ignored until they simply go away. They also have the pesky habit of being strict constitutionalists and that simply won't do for the old-guard. Now they are the blame for a downgrade in this countries' credit rating? C'mon lefties...you gotta try harder than that. I'm embarassed for you.

Thats not like that at all ... I too VOTED AGAINST LEGALIZING POT.. Makes my business better.. thats what MANY growers thought and why EVERY1 here in Cali who had bud Wants it to be even more regulated.. in my circle anyway

sorry but pot is not a major concern when I vote....I'm still getting high sooooo...I really wouldn't vote for a guy just because he would make pot legal....hell a crack head would make pot legal

One cannot doubt that many individuals who voted for Obama, made the "fact" that he would legalize marijuana one of the main reason(s) why they would/did vote for him...That and the fact that he'd pay their mortgages and gasoline bills. :D

People who Want POT LEGALIZED are people who lack Pot.. I personally Wish they would make more restrictions on it.. Only helps the REAL growers out.. and not the Young pot heads who think its cool to go to a clinic/

OK LF. I must be mistaken when I read those threads years ago. Yeah, these "circles" can be interesting. One of my circles believes that anyone who can't bench 300lbs needs to turn in their Man Card...LOL!

I don't hold much credence in..."circles", but I don't buy in to Status Quo and what "my circle" believes.

I don't believe Obama ever said he would legalize marijuana. So this group that you are in discussions with was severely misinformed. He did say that he would look at decriminalization.

Really? Is that the reason you think people want it legalized? Okay, I guess the millions of people with criminal records who are struggling to get jobs because of that record, as well as feed their families because of the fines they have to pay only want it legalized because that means it is more easily accessible. Do you hear yourself???????

i base my self-esteem on how much weight i can lift at one time.

i am also a walking cliche who takes shirtless flex pose pictures of myself in front of the bathroom mirror :lol:
