Look, the bottom line is if people want to be covered build a system that allows everyone to be covered.
Don't complain that you have to pay into a system of coverage and then complain when someone does not
fall under the umbrella of coverage.

Im not going to argue your underlying issue with taxes, we know you don't think you should have to pay in to cover your share
of services you receive, roads you travel, schools you have been educated in unless you choose to pay.

But you see, if the greater good was left in the hands of people who are of the same mind set as you are nothing would get built

Im positive that the doctors and scientists that are working on these treatments keep notes.
No, they will not have to redo their work, they will have to resume after funding runs out or find alternate funding.

They are not just tossing all progress in the trash because the gov shut down, do we even know if the research
has stopped?

Just because the shut down does not allow for experimental treatments to be deemed necessary does not mean the research ended.

I agree that insurers have too much say, they are out for profits and are known to allow people to suffer or die so
they can increase those profits.
